Facts.

Pat and some pieces for Sabonis. Let’s get it done, he is a star on the rise that will plug in low post offense and rebounding. He’s also shown the ability to turn on his defense and is super high energy. He has the size, legit 6’11, 240 lbs and length to be disruptive in the paint and has very high court IQ.

Don't think we have the pieces to get Sabonis, unless the Bulls somehow package Vuc and get some pieces for him. It would be amazing if we could essentially replace Vuc with him, but AKME will have to work some serious magic to make it happen. I also don't think the Pacers will trade him. Sabonis is a franchise player.

I wouldn't be surprised if DJ is out for a significant time with that knee injury. I wouldn't be surprised if that was an ACL or MCL. Might be done for the season, but hopefully it looked worse than it actually is.

It's a little weird that we haven't gotten a DJJ update yet, right? Feeling like he's out for the season and they're buying him a little time to process this before making it public.

About as good news as we could have hoped for! Not sure how bone bruises happen without contact, but better than other non-contact items for sure!

Not sure about whether he'll be back in time to be considered a trade candidate, but I want to keep him anyway.

Sabonis might be one of the few guys who might be able to help with KD.
The 2 match-ups this year have been pretty close and Domantas has seemed to hold his own.

Better than anything else we have to guard that beast.....

Problem is we don't have much to offer and IND would be keeping him in the division.

Bol Bol is available again...

Don't understand why Detroit voided that, but if he can be had for cheap, I'd look into it. Then again, AK knows something that I obviously don't

There's nothing secret that AK knows. Bol Bol sucks and isn't an NBA caliber player now. There's a reason that even Detroit doesn't want him.

Add PJ Washington to the list, he would fit very nicely.

There are guys out there that can help us. Only a matter of time til we decide which tier we want to go after...

AKME are biding their time. Seems like a lot of potential fits are becoming available. I feel confident AKME will make a big move. With Coby looking like a stud lately, I wouldn't be shocked if AKME make a BIGTIME trade.

Yeah, something showed up on the physical that the Pistons didn't like I guess

To be honest, the answer is Draymond Green, but that dude is a Warrior lifer along with Klay and Steph. You add him on this team and I firmly believe this team are the favorites in the East at least.

is hard to see AK make big trade when we are first in the standings, some minor moves yes, but it takes some balls for a big movement.
sabonis would be a big improvement over Vuc, younger, better scorer and passer, but I doubt he is available for what we can offer. maybe this summer.

At this point I'm getting the feeling akme is simply holding the pf seat warm until Patrick Williams gets back.

And honestly Patrick Williams is who we need at the pf.

I'm not willing to give up bench scoring and depth for a guy to come here and grab 9 rebounds.

I get that feeling too and they'd be willing to maybe let Grant do that if cheap enough?

From KC today:

"The Bulls are one of several teams linked to Jerami Grant. A package of Williams, Jones Jr. and the protected first-round pick from Portland is the likely asking price for Grant. Multiple league sources said the current leaguewide impression is that Karnišovas values and intends to keep Coby White, whom coach Billy Donovan recently called "a winning player."
