He expire after the season or after next year?

This year

And he has a season-ending injury. Tore his whole hamstring off the bone a month ago.

Lmao I was going to say the same thing. Solomon Hill is on the low one of the great steals of the NBA. In that he steals teams money to practice with NBA players and sit next to them on the bench. This is probably his last rodeo before he has to take that act overseas.

Solomon is like what Lance Thomas was supposed to be. Gets no numbers but does all the little things right. If he wasn't hurt Atlanta doesn't even add him in.

Perhaps with just the merest hint of smoothness.

.384 FG%
.365 FG%
.402 FG%

Y'all trust Scott Perry if you want to.

Spoiler:
In all seriousness, let's hope Cam improves and shows more consistency the next 18 months. He has talent. But he has a long way to go. Let's just say I'm very skeptical.

He is always hurt. His stats are bad too. Just like Lance if he is playing, things aren’t going as planned.

Still worth a gamble with what we gave, but he just feels like a dude who is going to drive us crazy. Will show flashes and then maybe get overpaid because he “has all the tools”. His +/- stats are def worrying.

But hey f*ck it, let the Paul George comps fly baby lol.

Hopefully when we unload him at the trade deadline next season we'll be able to pick up another #2, so we end up with two #2s in this trade (which is what the Charlotte pick would have eventually defaulted to).

He got solid minutes in Atlanta last year for a good team. Hell when they started playing him instead of Cam the team vastly improved.

I never really liked Knox and was never crazy high on Cam.

But the big difference is Cam has some defensive potential compared to Knox. I think he could at least be a 3D guy. He is shooting 42% on catch and shoot 3s this year. Not saying he will be a star or anything but I think there's at least a path for him to be a solid rotation player. But yea, he still has to put it together and be consistent. You may be right and he may suck. Just wouldnt close the book on him yet.

Cam is a worse defender than Knox. He's more athletic than him, he doesn't have more defensive potential than him.

Knox can shoot too, we should realize at this point being tall and shooting while being terrible at everything else isn't good. Especially when it comes wrapped up in a bad attitude like Reddish. Say what you want about Knox he always kept a positive attitude and played his role. Cam really thinks he's that guy and doesn't need to improve.

Lol Cam is known for defense in the league and Knox is not. What in the world?

I will disagree with the defense. Think Cam def has much better defensive potential then Knox, although that's not saying much.

No doubt Cam has his issues and flaws, which is why the price is cheap. He was a better prospect then Knox and has had a better career so far, again not saying much.

But i understand your not a fan. I'm not even that crazy about him, but think he is worth a shot. Def agree he needs to adjust some things and find his niche and stay humble but there have been a lot of players like that before. Maybe he finds his niche and puts it together. Or maybe not.

If these kids develop right we literally got our Tatum and Brown with RJ and Cam.

Cam has incredible numbers when Trae’s hurt. Just got to continue with less ball time with Randle and Cam and RJ will shine.

Imma look at the bright side. Zion likes Cam and we also got Solomon Hill and he's a great role player. Basically that's all I got.

Solomon Hill is out for the season and won’t be playing here

He may not until we make additional moves.

It would be incredible if he didn't.

GM: Great we finally acquired Reddish, a much needed player, someone we've been coveting for a while. We're happy to give up a first round pick and a struggling young player for him.

Coach: Hmmm, lets see who we have here...Reddish...nah. Stick to the bench for now. I have better options.

THe optics on that would not be good IMO.

Yeah - and Solomon Hill is not a “great role player”.

To put it plainly, he fuggin sucks.

Kinda curious how this board gonna feel about him then with all this “young, potential” sh*t y’all carrying on about

Everyone loves a young guy with potential, until he gets the bag and the flaws become noticeable. I mean maybe he'll just be really good or something, but there's like a timeline on these things before people start to turn on him.

I sense a heavy dose of Juluis "im feeling left out" Randle next game. He Might be shook that he is realizing that his grip on this team is slipping.

Cause lets be real. All the talk will be about Cam and RJ realizing their potential and he will prob hate that....
