Somebody dig up history of Cam on ball. I think he just wants freedom to be a scorer. Not necessarily be on ball like a point guard. In ATL Trae young hold the ball all day.

Knox and Frank at least got their shot.

Knox played 29 mpg as a rook and 18 mpg as a soph. Frank played over 20 mpg his first 3 seasons. Cam has also played 26 mpg for his career despite pretty bad numbers.

Obi will legit never play more than 10-15 mpg with Thibs and JuJu here lol. U dont have to love his game but people are posting Knox and Cam 30 pt games like Obi wouldnt have a bunch of his own if he played more. Obi’s highlights make him look like STAT.

But anywho, Cam seems like he’ll take Grimes’ minutes for now unless another trade is coming, or we go small with Cam at the 4 over Obi. No way Fournier or Burks get benched. Idk how I feel about that because Grimes seems like the better role player. We dont need another guy who wants to dom the rock.

I was feeling good about the trade until E-balla, who apparently watched the guy play all the time, crapped all over it.

I mean, that's got to take some of the joy out of it, if a guy sees him all the time since he's in the same area, and thinks he's not "decent" or "ok" or "bit of a project" but thinks he sucks and is one of the worst players in the league, you have to at least consider the guy is not that good.

Hope he's good. It's the Knicks, so we'll probably be disappointed. Nothing ever really works out.

at the end of the day, they're probably just taking a cheap flyer on a kid who hasn't reached his potential for a pick that wasn't gonna be great and there's no grand plan beyond that.

and they're hoping playing with rj makes the transition easier for him.
