The Grizzlies really need shooting badly.

Culver is hilariously bad. I knew he’d suck coming out of college but he’s showing he doesn’t even belong.

Luka masterclass in the 2nd half. Ended another triple double.

I like Buddy Hield with the Grizzlies. A guy that can knock down 3s and get buckets off the bench. The Grizzies don't really have a bucket getter off their bench. The thing is that I don''t know if the Grizzlies want to pay him in 2023-24.

He's 20 years old putting up 19/8/8/1.6 spg and leading Hornets above 0.500 and into the playoffs... but yeah Ok.

He’s not good enough defensively. He was 0-8 the other night from 3 and the hornets still won . He’s not reason why the hornets are in the playoffs

its risky move but if you think they get to wcf or finals then it’s worth doing

Lots of basketball left but I have feeling Boston won’t make the playoffs at this rate

Yeah this Ball narrative is annoying, he's not the best player on his team. You replace him with Rubio and they are the same team.

the hornets are collective of good players with good system . There’s no stars on that team . Fun to watch sure ,but that’s it . Hayward carried the offense the other night and made lamelo an after thought.

I didn’t realize Mavs are this hot lately. End Grizzlies 11 game win streak in blowout. End Bulls 9 game win streak with blowout. Blow out Warriors.

No it wasn't. It was an undermanned warriors vs an undermanned bulls.

For some reason the GSW fans in here are doing everything they can to downplay their team and talking about this as an amazing, totally unexpected outcome (i.e., a win), forgetting that they came into this game with the second best record in the competition (better than the Bulls record), and both teams were coming off big losses.

This game said so much more about the Bulls than it did about GSW.

A road b2b win as an undermanned team is much more telling about the team on said b2b than the opposite. This was effectively a schedule loss for Golden State. Missing their 2nd best player on top of their 2 best defenders (Klay/Wiseman missing.. whatever, that's playoff talk). It matters.

Downplay the Warriors? No. Their only embarrassing loss was to the Bucks in the past month, who themselves had two embarrassing losses to the Hornets in the past week+. I'm just happy the Warriors showed they're not relenting and are coming out swinging after a tough loss. That's what champions do.

There's plenty of 'you should have smashed us', and 'bulls would have expected to win by xx', 'we were so undermanned' quotes and similar to be had in the last 4 or so pages.

These comments seem to be set-ups to disparage the Bulls team (i.e., they must so bad if they can't beat this GSW team). Pretty disingenuous.

Not all the Warriors fans have forgotten our recent losses or our dark ages of missing playoffs, and we can still find a way to remain humble since we are still trying to figure out what we really have. We still have some bandwagon fans that only have known us as a great team and forget the process that led us to that. Tough game guys, i hope you guys recover quick, i really respect your team and players!

It's Dr Jykell and Mr Hyde, main problem is that a team of career 40% 3pt shooters are struglling in the low 30s.

8th game in 12 days so it is understandable. Look out of sorts tonight. Let the Mavs hang around and then they went on a run and I don't know if we have the energy to respond or not.

Mavs much improved defense clamped down on the Grizz in the 2nd half and Luka put on a show.

That doesn’t work either. He bullies smaller players and is skilled enough to finesse bigger defenders.

They’ve been steadily improving on the defensive side this season. They’ve talked about having an overall team goal of holding every team they play under 100 points. They’ve been 8-2 over their last 10 games. Definitely trending in the right direction with the All Star break coming up soon.

They held Curry to 14 points and held the Warriors to less than 85 points in that game. The Mavs defense has been really good over the last 10-15 games.

That might have something to do with Kidd making them play harder on defense. The new ball might be having an effect too.
