Flash forward 8-10 years - What big names do you see playing together past their primes?

Post#1 » by Cubbies2120 » Fri Jan 14, 2022 11:25 pm

If we take a trip down memory lane, just 8-10 years ago, half the Nets and Lakers players were superstars / max contracts.

Obviously most of those players are significantly past their primes, whether due to injury, age, or a combination of both. Which brings me to my question...

What current star players can you see joining forces in their last few years in the league? Which ones would surprise you?

Zion won’t be in the league in 8-10 years. Injuries will have him out before that I think.

Why are people listing guys who will be 30-32 in 8/10 years? They’ll be two years younger than Steph is now at that point.

I’ll go Giannis at 37 with a 38 year old Bradley Beal and 39 year old Kyrie coming back after a two year layoff spent fighting with Boko Haram.

Never say never. This duo may happen sooner rather than later anyways

I can see Jokic eventually making his way onto the Lakers. Possibly Luka as well. Both.

Not saying the duo will never happen. Just that even if it does, it won’t be in 8-10 years and we’d probably only get like 30 game of them playing together where Zion isn’t injured
