JB’s comments were piercing and correct. Immaturity is a factor on this squad.

It is hard to maintain the level of intensity needed for this team to win. We lack a significant center, our bench is good at times but can get overwhelmed, and our team defense can’t stay in front of people (many nights). The recent big victories proved it can be done WHEN we play good D and we are hitting jump shots. On a bad shooting night we struggle for alternative scoring methods.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I don't want to hear **** about a lack of center. Mason played very well tonight. Everyone else looked legit hungover. What an embarrassment.

Not that it would have made a difference but I hate that JB has such a double standard on LaMelo and the other guys. If you're gonna bench LaMelo when he misses shots or makes mistakes that's cool, but do the same thing to Terry and Miles. I don't get why they're playing 40 minutes when they play like that. Sends a bad message. What would Terry have to do to get 30 minutes in a game if this game wasn't it

It sucks we lost, but honestly those nights are going to happen in the NBA. Lets not get too down on one game regardless if it was a bad team. We went cold on offense at the wrong time of the game and had a few bad turnovers that turned into easy buckets for them to extend their lead. Terry and Miles both had looks in the final 4 minutes that could of swung the game in our favor.

I will say Franz Wagner is a stud. Dude played a near perfect game to me and Mo hit some big shots.

Remember preseason when he destroyed OKC and everyone on the team was all smiles thinking we were hot ****, then we got destroyed by MEM? This kinda felt like that.

It really is surprising that this continues to be an issue.

Games like this and the first rockets game are why I don't expect anything from this team this year, I expect to get ass blasted in the playoffs. The maturity and experience just isn't there. It's not doom and gloom because we have a young superstar and talented young core, they are just young. This is where Hayward needs to step in and take control of the team, but that's not his personality. Rozier tries but he doesn't have the defensive ability. This team needs a Draymond Green type leader in the worst way.
I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles

Raptors lost to Pistons last night too.
Nets lost to Thunder night before.

It is the NBA, anyone can beat anyone on any given night. It is one loss and it happens to teams all the time.

we've seen them get up big in game and then turn into a bunch of hotdogs acting like it's a streetball game, just to let the opponent storm back.

we've seen them approach games with bad teams like they're a star studded bunch who can't lose, just to get knocked in the teeth and lose games.

it's really just an unfortunate side effect of having a team full of young, super immature guys who don't really know how to win.

they'll either figure it out as they continue to grow, or miss the playoffs and have the stupid losses to look back on.

I'll continue to harp on the failings of management to put a true veteran presence in the locker room who maintains accountability.

even the 73-9 Warriors lost a game to the 17-65 Lakers in Kobe's retirement tour. It happens

It's just amusing that it comes right after three of our biggest wins of the year
