Re: 2021-2022 College Basketball / NBA Draft
Chandler’s problem is that he is small and not in a good meatball type of way, also while very classy let’s say Cooper had 2 standout traits (playmaking/passing). Chandler is very good but size matters.
Banchero is more like Randle then Harris. Murray is just a tad too old. I see Smith or Chet as the one to get, AJ for us if we do get a high pick for Ben. Eason for a pick swap for Springer? Count me in. That’s our big guard and our Grant type of wing for the future.

I like Kennedy Chandler, as i mentioned earlier in this thread.
His 6’ size makes him an explosive slasher to the rim, his 6’5” wingspan allows him to get elite deflection and plays bigger than his size on defense. He is a two way guard with good scoring. The thing that isnt making him a top 3 or top 5 pick material for me is i dont think he has that good of a ceiling with his scoring while I put a lot of value in a prospect based on their scoring. But I find that I do value chandler higher than most guy do value him.

What's the lowest pick for Ben y'all would accept in this draft (aka: where do you think the talent drop off lies).
If a team came with the 7th overall pick + some salary and maybe a future pick is that enough to pull the trigger?

During the draft where a guy were targetting is available, yes.
Before the draft, atleast a lottery pick (6-10 range) and a pick swap. And Very likely another unprotected pick.

Keegan Murray had two strong games. One against Johnny Davis’ team. Johnny Davis will be a lottery pick.

Antoine Davis screams "special" to me. I think there's darkhorse star potential here. At the worst, I could see Patty Mills/Devonta Graham type impact. This guy is freaking good.

He takes 20 shots to average 23-24. But he has the skillset to be a microwave/high variance scorer in the NBA.

Sometimes with these smallschool dudes, their numbers go down when they play power conference teams (cough Grant Riller cough), but Davis always steps up in those games.

After breaking John Wall's Kentucky assist record, here he is today totally outclassing Kennedy Chandler head to head.
Tyty top ten.

I don't really like TyTy tbh.
He's a good shotcreator and all, but he doesn't really shoot threes or draw free throws. Subpar positional distributing. Obviously doesn't offer much defensively.
Just seems like the typical 6'3" and undershotcreator.

I like his tools. Nice handle, really pretty shot with a quick trigger, can organize an offense, pesky defender.
He's a player I would take a chance on if I had a late lottery pick.

I do think he's one of the best one-on-one guys in the freshman class. Pure chef.

Jaden Shackelford is such a no-brainer 1st rounder. He's going to be a sniper.

What do you guys think of Mathurin? I have him higher than Banchero now.

I think his stock is getting too high, to be honest. Not sure if I see him as a top 10 pick. I'm having trouble projecting him as a scorer at the next level with how little he can slash to the basket off the dribble.
I think you can get a nearly identical player to him (Julian Strawther) at the end of the first round so I'm having a hard time justifying him as a top 10 pick.

I think Mathurin has a lot higher upside than Strawther as an offensive player. Possibly an Oladipo type offensive player
Buy the way, im dumping both the Kendall Brown and Kennedy Chandler stocks right now haha
