Yep, although i do believe that he wouldn't win regardless.
It's a 2 man race basically. Steph and Giannis.
Jokic, DeRozan, Gobert, Embiid, Morant will be mentioned and all but unless things change dramatically my money would go to the first two.

Holiday's return makes Giannis a favorite, however if they don't get a top 2 seed and someone else does, Giannis' case might not be that great.

I'm curious to see what the Warriors end up as at the end of the year. Was the amazing early start a fluke? We shall see. Still half a season left, and the race has yet to crystalize.

He hasn’t missed a game in over a month, and if he doesn’t miss another game this year he will have played 71 games. Funny because the last Sixers MVP Iverson also played just 71 games in his mvp season.

Sixers are only 2.5 games out of the east 1 position. It’s tight at the top of the east between 1-6 seeds. So any good week or bad week can change the seeding quickly these days. Looking at the sixers next 4-5 games I wouldn’t be surprise if they move up to 3 or even 2 in the east. But they still got tons of injuries. Always 3 rotation guys or starters missing almost every game. So it’s really Embiid carrying the team. They are 22-9 with embiid. I really wonder who good the sixers are if the ever had a healthy lineup playing more than 2-3 games together. And this is not even including Simmons as the missing player.

Too early to say who will be mvp

Embiid is a non-factor. He has missed 11 games already and is due to miss approximately another 10-12 like he always does.

Lmao he missed only 2 games to actual injury. Let's not talk about your boy Giannis who has his annual knee scare. Fact of the matter is Embiid had been healthy this season, counting on him getting injured is a pretty bad reason to discount him. Obviously if he does he's out of the running but that hasn't happened yet.

Well when it happens we can have the discussion instead of automatically assuming it will. Given that he's only missed 2 games to injury or rest, the current pace is better than any of his career.

Last year, you said 51 games, but it's from a shorter season, so he actually played a higher percentage of games possible.
