He's a young big, who rebounds well, offers rim protection and efficient scorer in the key. Downside is he doesn't shoot the 3. The Hawks are looking to deal with the only apparent untouchables being Trae & Capella, so I'm curious what the ask would be?

Curious to see how he comes along on the offensive side. His defensive instincts (purely from the limited Hawks games I have seen) have been pretty nice.

Well this is entirely wrong. This is an overpay for Turner as it is, so any premium is already built in there.

What do you think is more valuable, a steal or a block, if that's your rationale?

In general, 7 footers that block shots and shoot the trey are seemingly getttng paid a premium and come at a premium.

I ain't saying it's right or wrong. Just seeing what the market dictates.

I get that. Trent is as good a defender as Turner is, or close. Trent is a better offenisve player and is 22. 2 Steals are worth more than 2 blocks, since you get the ball. I have no idea why you would think the entire concept of Trent of Turner is just lolz at everyone.

Turner is a 7 footer who blocks and shoots the long ball. Stretch 4/5. Teams covet that.

GTJ type player is nice. May not be as coveted as Raptors fans covet him.

Ah, I stand corrected. So whoever deals for him gets 1 year of Myles.

Lol more like 1.4 seasons - so two playoff runs.

What are we defining as playoff runs?

I give up. You've given me no reason but he's a big, even when Trent is the better player. Its not that big a premium. And we have a bunch of players that play C in the fourth better than Turner.

What happened to you?

You have your thoughts and opinions and I have mine. It's an internet message board. Why can we not leave it at that instead of asking what happened to you?

Its kind of akin to that 'who hurt you?' question.

Just admit you tried to make a point based on false info of Myles Turner being a free agent at the end of this year - your point is not relevant.

7 footers who block shats and shoot treys are at a premium. If a guy like Zach Collins and Myers Leonard are/were getting paid, you best damn well believe Myles Turner is going to get dealt for a PACKAGE package that will entice the Pacers.

Let's all stop with the "I would do this deal' type of posts. It is embarrassing. Unless you are Masai or Bobby posting here.

“I would…” is a way of letting others know your opinion. I’m pretty sure everyone knows they are not the GM.

Such a weird thing to get bent out of shape about.

You still mad and holding grudges on a message board, Sir.

Let it go.

You make no sense. You insult people for saying their opinion by stating what they would do. Then when it’s explained that is normal language used to state your opinion you go on about getting mad.

They want two first rounders for Turner? Yeah right. Far too high a price for a player of his limitations. He's a decent player but he's not that valuable.
I've got a belt on that's holding up my pants and my pants have belt loops that hold up my belt. I don't know what's really happening down there. Who is the real hero? - Mitch Hedberg

If I'm not wrong didn't the magic want two firsts for ibaka as well. The fact of the matter is they can want whatever they want but when they see no interest towards the end of the deadline they'll become desperate and prolly cave for just a first and young player.

What about Dragic, Boucher, Flynn, 2 firsts and filler for Turner and laVert ?

We get a more steady shooter and a big. They get a power forward who can play beside Sabonis.

2 firsts or a first and a promising young player. Pick + Ross will be the type of package that gets it done I think. Unfortunately we don't have a Ross to deal.

Stress fractures on a big man is never a good sign, I would stay far far away. Could end up being a 8-12 week recovery for him.

Raptors dodged a bullet. Let's just get Bamba or someone on the cheap, and keep our core five intact.

His Sabonis that good to offset his defense?
