Utah bricking all of their shots is only thing keeping us in the game. I can't remember the last time I saw them missing so many open looks.
Any decent team making their shots would have had a 20+ lead by this point.

Sign that guy, no. 14! No more ten-day, hangdog contracts.
Johnson + Reaves = Hustle

The entire supporting cast/bench players should all be under 10-day contracts if it will provide effort and hustle plays like Stanley Johnson… but the Jazz beat themselves more than the Lakers beating them. However, a much better effort was shown and even some team camaraderie showing toward the end of the game. Hopefully this is where the team turns the corner.

Momentum swinging W??

“The other day I saw one of his games. He was running with the ball at a hundred per cent full speed, I don’t know how many touches he took, maybe five or six, but the ball was glued to his foot. It’s practically impossible.”

Utah is definitely the type of team you’d hope to play in the 1st round. Gobert can easily be taken out of the picture in big games by players the caliber of 10 day contracts like Stanley Johnson.

Utah shot 26% from 3 and they were still up by 8 pts in the last 8 mins and change.
They won so yay !
Lakers seems to rely heavily on opponents struggling with their shot while they make more shots in the clutch.

Let's not get our panties wet.
If this was a series' Game 1, this was the type of game the favorite played miserably and shot themselvez in the foot, rather than the opponent being better. But then proceeded to back end sweep the said inferior opponent.
Small ball struggles or not for Gobert/Utah, we wouldn't take more than 1 game from a Utah series playing like this.
I rarely saw an NBA team clanking more open shots than Utah tonight. Any NBA team, let alone a good one.

Johnson earned himself a real contract by now. The Westbrook dunk was nasty !
