If I could trade the entire Jazz roster outside of Gobert+Mitchell+O'neale+Hughes+Paschal for expiring contracts + 2 1sts, I'd do it. It's a bad free agency class, but you'd have cap space and picks to make a deal + be able to sign an impact player with what's left. I'm just so done watching us get murdered because we have only one power forward who can rebound (Gay), no backup center with Whiteside out (and he's obviously inconsistent), and cheese-cloth perimeter defense.

I'd like to echo my sentiments here for one Timothy Hardaway Junior. Incapable of generating consistent offense and not good on the other side of the ball. Has returned to his chuncker and shot selection tendencies. Just a horrible deal. Front Office won't trade him because of his "leadership" skills. Complete joke of a contract. Who wants him? please take him, please. We can attach Green (young prospect) and/or can absorb some bad salary plus a 10.8M TPE in return to make the value fair.

Jerami Grant? He was assinged to Piston's G-League affiliate to ramp up his rehab/on court work. Pistons have a lot of games over ext week and thus little practice time. Assigning him to Motor City Cruise means he's moved beyond solo work at least and maybe want him to scrimmage.

Yup. Makes complete sense to assign him, even if he’s not ready for real play. If he’s not traveling, he’ll need the basic work.

Indiana waited too long, don't think you can trade him now, the offers won't be there. Turner's injury history is also troubling. Seems he has a good 40 games in him every year.

Think this Turner news makes him a great target for OKC. They can move some picks for him then shut him down to keep the tank rolling. Something like:

Favors + Bazley or Maledon + 2022 LAC FRP (Top-5 protected) + 2023 DEN FRP for Turner + Vet Min Guy

Dont think Turner will fetch a lotto pick anymore, let alone a second pick on top. Stress reaction in big men can be a lingering issue

I thought about that. I think I'd want to up the protection on the LAC pick to something more like 8 or 10 (fallback can be another protected 1st owned by OKC) but I'd be interested. Bazley could be interesting for Indy since he's from Cincinnati. But I think for OKC it's a good gamble because the top prospects appear to be better at PF or they are SGs.
