Ugh... Nesmith has a good stint and then immediately gets injured. Hope he's back for Wednesday:

https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/basketball/nba/teams/bos/boston-celtics

Aaron Nesmith rolled his ankle during Monday's game and didn't practice Tuesday, head coach Ime Udoka said.
Nesmith "came in and gave a huge boost off the bench," Jayson Tatum told The Athletic. He made an impact in the win before injuring his ankle.

I know that Sacramento will be buyers trying to get a piece to get them into the playoffs for the first time in 82 years or whatever it is.

DO we have anything that could get Mitchell from them?

I love that kid.

I assume he is talking about Nesmith.
If he is, is this an indication that with some minutes there are teams out there that want him? and is that an indication that Ime is an idiot for not playing him more?

Wiseman to Sacramento for Haliburton and Davis

Brown/Richardson/Davis
Wiggins/Nesmith/Romeo
Tatum/Grant/Juancho
Timeord/Kanter/Bruno

Then Juancho/Nesmith/Richardson for Giannis?

DOnt you have a simmons for 6 first rounder unprotected and Harden post to make somewhere?

this will lead to a "we like our guys" ending.

Brad Stevens is trying to win a poker hand with a pair of 8's. All the players mentioned don't have a ton of value.

I doubt he moves them unless he knows Beal isn't a possibility.

Whole point of the extensions was to make a sign-and-trade for Beal easier

I'm one that thinks Beal to the Celtics is a pipe dream. I think Washington is going to offer Beal the supermax and Beal is going to take it.

I thought the Woj analysis was fair, assuming the team is committed to keeping Tatum and Brown. The reason he didn't mention Horford is probably that Horford has no trade value except as a partially expiring contract next year. What he also omitted was what the Celtics might do to avoid the tax.

Even if that’s your opinion the Celtics can’t and shouldn’t make deals that make beal virtually impossible until they know it’s a pipe dream.

It's possible. Now, the Wizards offering him a supermax would be BEYOND stupid, he hasn't even been their best player this season (Kuzma has straight up been better) and he's going to be 29 when that contract starts (and would be the 2nd-highest paid player in the NBA). But as we saw with Wall, Wizards gonna Wizards

The Beal situation is very hard to read right now, they're having a decent season in DC but still just in 8th

Woj wrote some words.

What I gathered from said words: The Celtics already have their Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, and Phil Jackson. Just need to fill out the rest of the championship roster.

I'm not proposing any deals.

C’mon lol, there isn’t even an argument for Kuzma being better this year. Beal can’t hit anything from deep, but Kuzma has been the exact same player as always, just more responsibility.

Obviously Beal hasn’t been as good as usual, but he’s been the far better player by any and every metric.

Ignore him. He hasn't posted on trade proposal that isn't totally lopsided in the Celtics favor.

Well, with Turner now off the table, I'm going after Sabonis with Horford, picks and as many expiring contracts and young players as Indiana wants. I'd even take back that terrible deal they gave to the injured T.J. McConnell. And the Pacers might have some interest in hometown hero Langford.

But once again, dealing with that Indiana front office is an exercise in frustration.
