Will be interesting to see if Sacramento makes a stupid offer for Domas. Idk what that would be though. Mitchell, Bagley (matching), and a ton of picks? Hali may still have to be on the table though.

Barnes/Mitchell/2 1sts for Sabonis/Justin?

That would be interesting. Would think they'd push to keep Barnes though.

Agreed. Was kind of thinking that adding Justin makes it more palatable. For us, Barnes would stabilize the wings a bit until Warren eventually (hopefully?) returns, and then could basically just be switchable wings after that. Essentially, instead of the twin centers, we'd go to twin switchable forward lineup, which would be more of a modern style of play. And, maybe in the offseason we could still send out Barnes for a mid to late 1st if Warren re-signs?

Obviously, Barnes instead of Bagley might mean that we get 1 less 1st, but again, I think we could recoup that later by flipping Barnes later if we wanted to.

My preference is Turner traded.

I’ll be sick and on the IR the rest of the season if they trade Sabonis and keep Turner.

If they trade both I can handle that a bit better. :(

Fox is not worth his salary. Only shooting about 25% from 3 point range and just an average shooter from 2 point range. Nothing about him screams Thirty Million a year player.

I love Fox’s quickness and ability to drive to the bucket but not for this contract.
If the Pacers trade with the Kings I hope they get a combo of draft picks, Barnes, Mitchell, or Bagley who supposedly the Kings also want to move. Don’t want Holmes. Halliburton is off limits I believe.

I was reading Kings board and I sure hope the Pacers aren’t part of the Simmons to Sacramento deal. Supposedly Philly doesn’t want Fox either.

FWIW, If I was Carlisle, I would be pushing hard for Fox. Fox needs him. The Kings screwed up his development by catering to Fox and Buddy's desire to run. Fox has all the tools in the world, but needs to control pace better, know when to push the ball, when to make a play for others, etc. Carlisle, with his demanding style, would be perfect for Fox. Fox may hate him initially, but long term, if Fox ever does hit his ceiling, he needs a non-sense coach like Carlisle.

I'd much prefer Davion "off night" mitchell. I'd be willing to include Justin Holiday to make the money work and I'd be willing to eat the Barnes contract. I'd even eat the Hield contract if we had to and I'd certainly do it if they'd take LeVert.

with no all star coming back I think we'd be talking Turner not Sabonis unless there were two firsts (Mitchell should count as a first though).

I don't think the Kings should target Turner, but maybe.

Sabonis is going to cost more than Turner. I believe both the Pacers and Kings would like a Simmons deal and will be cautious about doing anything that would take them out of that hunt.

I just checked with the trade machine.

Fox and Davion Mitchell for Sabonis and Levert works salary wise.
Saves the Pacers some salary. Always important for our owner!

Gives 2 long contracts, one rookie contract, one all-star.
We get younger!

Rotation wise it solves a couple of problems.

Levert is a good player and Sabonis is a great player. I would rather not trade him, but to gain something, you have to give something.

Can Fox and Brogdon co-exits I think so.
Duarte and Mitchell are the rotation guards, so that is settled for coming future.
Just leaves us with McConnel and his four year contract. But that is a very reasonable contract.

Turner can play center, Goga can back-up. There will be minutes available for Jackson

Holiday, Craig are there on reasonable contracts.
Warren will he ever play?

This kind of deal is in my view the kind of deal Pritchett will be making.

No whole turnover, no gamble on draft picks.
Getting a little bit cheaper,
getting younger,
getting long reasonable contracts.

I think Pacers would ask for an additional FRP if it is Sabonis but not if it is Turner. Mitchell counts as a FRP as he was just taken.

I'm not sure why the Kings would want to trade 2 PGs but if they do I'd take the deal.
