Fultz and Isaac will come back when GMs feel there is no way they lose top chance at a pick. And when they do come back, it will be off the bench and 15mpg tops

Is there any chance that when you guys get Fultz and Isaac back, that you cut Garry Harris so he can come back to Denver?

We won't cut him, he's played very well lately, so our management would want to get something for him.

Why would we cut him?
Surely someone would be willing to give up something in a trade for him, especially with how hes played lately

If we don't trade him they may offer him a deal that's slightly over the mid-level next season. Not many teams have cap space.

Agree. DEN didn't really want to unload him, but his contract is a useful part of a bigger deal. IMO, best thing for ORL would be using his even more valuable expiring as part of a bigger deal ( :nod:

), but, IF he would even stay in ORL and IF he'd agree to a team-friendly deal, I'd be happy to keep him...but, he's pretty well-positioned to move to a contender if he's not simply looking for the highest bidder or best fit. Wouldn't blame him if he moved on.

He might stay if we're relevant...but we're unlikely to be relevant unless we make a significant bold trade that he would, most likely, be a part of. Catch-22

If Harris does not get traded before the deadline and then asks to be released after, I think the Magic would oblige him. Especially once Fultz and MCW and Moore are all back, which should be soon.

I don't think there's any way the Magic would sign him to a a multi-year contract this offseason and potentially compromise their future cap space while they're still tanking.

The logical move would be to let Harris's contract expire and use the cap space next season. But would WeltHam use it? And even if they tried, is any free agent coming here? It would have to be a player looking for a payday who doesn't care about winning. So if you want to get any value out of Harris you have to trade him before the deadline, or if you like him enough try to re-sign him at a reasonable price.

We're not going to use it. So we should trade him to someone who will. I posited trading him for Bledsoe, so that the Clips can clean house a bit and reset. Snag Coffey, Keon or Boston Jr. Maybe include Okeke/RJ and snag 2 of them?

We're nearing the end of January and still no sign of Fultz. We have to be looking for a trade to free up time (Harris/Ross).

It gets more and more frustrating the longer it goes for Fultz and Isaac.
