This is a good game to see whether Ky's comments on vaccine would have any impact on the team.

Normally, you would expect a W out of this because 1. We have the best record on the road 2. Kyrie & Harden pair have high winning % too.

But if Kyrie's comments create a negative vibe around the team, I expect a L and maybe a bit of a losing streak.

I donot know, but I want to be optimistic and believe things are not as bad as it looks. We will see.

There is no team that we "should" beat at this point in time. Not with Steve Nash as coach, not without KD, and not with just the clear dysfunction surrounding this team due to Kyrie's madness.

The Wizards have Spencer, Beal, AND Thomas Bryant is back and balling hard. They absolutely can beat us.

I'll hope for a win, but expect the worse. I'm almost to the point where I'm giving up on the season after what Kyrie said.

At this point, everyone who is blaming Nash has to really take a step back and realize what he was facing all year. I am willing to retrack and absolve him of most of the blame and I blame Kyrie for messing everything up rotation wise and personnel wise. Nash had to work with whatever was available and figure out what was best for the team. I side with Bob on this of ND; if Nash had a consistent group of players available, this mess could be avoided and that point, if the Nets struggled, then it would be his fault. But when you are top 3 in seeding and still managing with a diva around the team along with Covid and injuries, he's doing an overall exceptional job. And I know Proky will be quick to quote me and try to navigate the blame from Kyrie to Nash.

Need to find a way to win this game and will not be easy.

We still have KD and Harden. The key will be defense.

Nash needs to go back to playing Bembry. I don't know why hes in the doughouse.

We should beat them. they are an inferior team without a great coach themselves. without KD, they are an inferior team still. i expect a win. Nash is always an x factor, but we should win. if he costs us this game with obvious blunders, he has to go

Few, if any teams, have had it easier then nash this year. most teams cant rely on their 2nd or 3rd superstar when their first or second superstar is out. every team has had the issues you mentioned and most have had more issues and have less depth then us. we also had all our covid at once, so it didnt linger over 4-5 weeks like most teams.

we should have 5 more wins right now easily, in first, with a cushion

also, hey sean marks, the spurs your former team just gave away bryan forbes for free.

A win would be huge right now. The vibes are super un-confident, our players look rudderless and the fans are Chicken Little adjacent.

Win or lose, I just want to see us execute sharply, and hustle hard. Let's get back to playing a fun brand of basketball. "Fun" is a very subjective term, I'm aware, and tons of different styles of basketball are fun. What we really mean when we say fun, is more about what "fun" isn't.

It isn't fun to see opposing teams walk into our building and punk us. It's not fun to give up the rebounding battle, the 50/50 battle and the long range shooting battle. It's not fun to watch us struggle to ISO for 19 seconds, or hoist a guarded deep 3 early in the clock. It's not fun to watch the enemy swing the ball to multiple sides of the floor with no resistance, carve or perimeter with dribble drive, and take their pick of corner 3 or dunker dumpoff. It's not fun to see their extended runs erase our hard-won leads, without a timeout or even a change in strategy.

I'm ready to see max effort, max energy, and just the pride and connectivity we've all grown to love with this franchise. Make us proud, men. Go Nets!

Forbes is literally a player who would fit in right now off the bench to help spacing. I'm not sure how Marks didn't pounce on acquiring him

11.03.2021? If we are hopping on a time machine, can we give Kyrie a vaccine shot? :)

Nash ran his 21 sets to start and it worked. Now with LMA Harden is using him at the free throw line for dumps but we also have Kyrie which keeps the spacing open. The initial lineup was more effective mainly due to Sharpe being a better defender and a bigger threat at the rim than LMA.

Backdoor cuts are killing us. I'm not sure if it's communication and chemistry, lack of focus or system, but it's been plaguing us for a while.

Kai has been a bundle of energy on both ends of the floor. L'Automatic also firing.

Need to clean up those second-chance opportunities.
