Kings Discussing De'Aaron Fox In Trade Talks For Domantas Sabonis

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Jan 19, 2022 2:40 pm

The Sacramento Kings are now willing to discussing star guard De'Aaron Fox in trade talks. One player the Kings are looking at is Domantas Sabonis of the Indiana Pacers.

In previous trade discussions, including ones for Ben Simmons, the Kings were not open to talking about trading Fox. That's now changed, and Sacramento has put their franchise player on the table in a trade that would return an All-Star.

For his part, Fox knows trade talks are part of life in the NBA.

“In most sports, most players come up in trade talks,” Fox said recently after practice. “Obviously, you don’t have too many people who are really untouchable, so you always know something can happen.”

Guess moving Fox makes sense..they've drafted two point guards in the last two drafts..this franchise is a joke.

Nobody should be untouchable for a team like Kings but for Sabonis? Really? There's a reason they are where they are and we are looking at it.

Pacers. Please save the Knicks from themselves.

Pacers should try to get more in return with Fox too.

It's funny how opposite these takes are. I think SAC should jump on this if it's an option.

If the Pacers would truly send Domas out for Fox, Sacramento would be absolutely crazy to not hop on that ASAP. As a Pacers fan, I'd be disgusted with that deal. I've always liked Fox but not at that cost. Domas plays the game differently and has a real uniqueness to his game. In the modern game, the best comparison I can come up with is Jokic. He is also on a good contract, has always been a class act, and still has improvements to make that can further elevate his game. Im not really open to trading Domas but if it had to be, the Pacers could surely do better than Fox.
