A source said Sacramento is willing to package Buddy Hield, Tyrese Haliburton, Harrison Barnes and two first-round picks to the Sixers for Simmons, Tobias Harris and Matisse Thybulle.

I think this is more Morey BS. If Philly is offered this deal they should take it and run.

Gotta be BS. Harris has negative value that contract is a franchise killer. Let's assume Kings are crazy and would swap Hield for Harris straight up.

That leaves Hali, Barnes and 2 firsts for Simmons. You think Sacto makes that deal? Lol ya me neither.

I think he can be, depending on the rest of the roster. We could also start Bogi at PG, not like we use PG’s in a tradional way anyways.

Bogi/Tyus
Jaylen/Bogi
Tatum/Nesmith/Romeo
Grant/Tatum
Rob/Al

Plenty of shooting to open up driving lanes.

I fully buy that the Kings would do that, they are dumb as hell.

Nobody is as dumb as that. Come on.

Hali Barnes and 1 first is already an overkill when you need to consume that stupid Harris contract whilst shipping out Hield. Take the frps out and then maybe that makes sense. Wtf is this for real ? And supposedly they Sixers said no ? Wtf do they expect ? 2 frp + swaps ?

What if Sacramento’s been the only serious bidder with pieces Philly would want and Morey has just been f*cking with them and driving up the price for months

Kings now saying they want to build around Fox.

https://theathletic.com/news/kings-currently-dont-plan-to-trade-dearon-fox-in-order-to-center-team-around-him-sources/k4SfP584UQrs/

The Sacramento Kings organization has a current mindset: They are not trading guard De’Aaron Fox, sources tell The Athletic.

The Kings remain active in trade conversations, informing teams in the marketplace that they want to build around Fox and second-year guard Tyrese Haliburton, sources said. The Kings have informed Fox and his representation, agent Chris Gaston of Family First Sports, that they do not want to trade him and want to center the team around him and Haliburton.

The Hali/Hield/Barnes seems like it would fit really well with Tatum+ Rob...but then our starting lineup is 60% Kings (and essentially their best players sans Fox) and we know the Kings are a terrible deep lottery team as currently constructed. Just seems off

This makes more sense to me. Build around Fox, Haliburton, Langford, G Williams and send Harrison Barnes to Boston. :D

I'm wondering if Morey rejected their very good offer. So now the Kings are trying to smooth it over with Fox by declaring their love for him.

It's rumor season so who knows what is true. If the Kings are offering this and Morey and Philly are not interested then Morey needs professional help. Philly won't get better offers than this.

If I’m a Philly fan (or Embiid) and Morey turns that deal down, I’d be raging.

Morey is demanding that Nik Stauskas be included in the deal, and the Kings are attempting to purchase his contract from the Grand Rapids Gold.
