Not sure how we get in on this one? Guess it doesn't matter if the Sixers aren't interested? And would we do this?
Washington: Haliburton, Hield, Barnes + 2 firsts
Philly: Beal, Bertans, Bagley, Harrell
Sacramento: Harris, Simmons, Thybulle
I'd do it if those picks are Sac's 2022 and 2024 picks.
I'd like it even more if we could flip Barnes to a 3rd team in exchange for more picks.
Any chance we could end up with Thybulle and leave Barnes with Sacramento?
Do you think Sac'to would give us Haliburton & 2 R1 picks for Beal straight up? Doesn't seem super likely to me given the season Brad is having & the need to supermax him in a few months.
Maybe I'm wrong...? But, if I'm right, then obviously Harrell doesn't add a whole lot of value in the trade, b/c he is expiring. & Bertans substantially detracts from the value we'd be sending out.
OTOH, if Sac'to is really under pressure to do something "major," then I wonder what they actually would give us for Beal. &... would acquiring Beal be enough incentive for them to let go of Haliburton...?
If they sent us Haliburton, Barnes & Bagley, & we sent them Beal, Hachimura & Gill (just to make it 3 for 3 -- no roster shuffling), what else would have to be attached, & in which direction?
