I remember he had a part of the meniscus in his left knee removed in 2019.

****. That's a shame he was fitting that team like a glove.

Hope Ayo is as good as he seems.

Bulls have been extremely solid this season despite a staggering amount of players missing through either injury or protocol. Losing Lonzo for 4-6 weeks hurts them for sure but I'm almost completely confident the Bulls won't lose that much steam as a result.

That sucks. But now is a good time to get the procedure. Come back after the All-Star break.

Meniscus Repair is usually 3 month recovery? Shaving it off is 1 month recovery?

Most players are very conservative these days so for longevity he needs to do what’s best for his career.

Sucks for the bulls. The east is so packed. 1-6. Bulls can go one of two directions very quickly as injuries pile up.

"small" and "tear" usually don't go together in the same sentence. I feel like it's an actual tear.
G - James | Rondo
G - Bradley | Caruso
F - Green | Caldwell-Pope
F - Davis | Kuzma | Morris
C - McGee | Howard

Fortunately Caruso is back and PG depth isn't the Bulls issues as Ayo seems to have been a hidden gem in his 2021 draft.

Coby White also returned last month so they can manage with Lonzo.

Not as big of an impact as it appears. Ayo has been solid and he can defend.

Ayo Dosunmu Last 3 Games

18.0 PPG
5.7 RPG
8.0 APG
76.7% FG
70.0% 3PT

With Coby/Caruso and then hopefully Lavine back they'll be fine. If anything the Bulls PG depth is too strong they'll need to move one for a bigman in the future.

I think it's better to sit out the season and recover from meniscus tear as JJJ did. Coming back too quickly can lead to permanent damage.

He's on a 4 year contract, do the smart long term thing. Bulls have plenty of quality guards to ride out the year if need be.

Definitely should sit out remainder of season. He just signed with the Bulls and has three more years left on his contract.

Gives Ayo more chances who has been impressive when given starter minutes.

Hopefully Ball recovers quickly though.

Lonzo Ball’s injury history has been one of the most underreported topics of this past offseason. I wish the best for him though.
