Masai wouldn't trade OG for Kawhi. I'm not sure OG + 1st for Ben lines up. Then again I forget that Ben has made an all NBA team.

Likely just Philly inflating Simmons price tag, but OMG if Sacramento is really willing to take on Harris' contract to get Simmons. Eeeww, we should get in on this to fleece the Kings if true.

Pascal for Haliburton + Hield + 3 FRPs 8-). Really I'll do it for 2 FRPs if they are lightly protected, but it's the Kings.

Dudes an absolute baller.

Yup that window wasnt open very long at all.

Side note. We always hold San Antonio's development program in high regard, but even they tried to ship Dejounte out during the off-season.

Goes to show, nobody is perfect. They ain't moving him now.

You would trade Siakam to Kings for that package?

He wouldn't INCLUDE OG along with DeRozan, and included Poetl instead. Pretty sure he would have traded OG for Kawhi straight up lol.

Yes, if the picks are lightly/unprotected. I don't have faith in the Kings making it far, so those picks will be valuable.

Haliburton is a very good prospect. Hield is mostly to match salary but can be a bench scorer that we can leverage. We can flip Hield down the road as well if need be.

It depends on where Masai thinks Toronto is in the journey back to the conference finals. Raps are looking at a big tax bill in a year or two. Will we be worth it? If not, then Pascal's salary has to be the first to be jettisoned. Getting Hali, a flame thrower off the bench and three future prospects, even if they're drafted in the teens, isn't a bad return.

where? i doubt it would sit well with Sixer fans honestly....
plus it would create spacing issue for Raps

Ben, Pascal and Barnes? Great spacing with that trio!

does Pop love Fred?

Yeah, they don’t make that trade. Younger with more upside has more value.

I haven’t watched much of Murray but his shooting percentages are atrocious. I can’t imagine he’s better than Fred right now. And do you think he could develop into a 40% 3pt shooter like Fred?

Dejounte is a fantasy beast though but there is a difference between fantasy value and real life value.

I really don't see us trading OG for Ben Simmons. If anything I could see it being Trent because he has a year less on his deal for us. Like this:

Raptors - Ben Simmons
76ers - Trent + 20M player
Team X - Dragic expiring + 2 first rounders

with it being someone like Jerami Grant over to Philly to give them a Maxey-Trent-Grant-Harris-Embiid lineup. Morey can claim Grant is a top 40 guy and save face.

If their plan is to get rid of Tobias Harris in the deal to get rid of Embiid to sign Harden, I don't see us being in it apart from as a 3 way move with Dragic's contract involved.

Boucher might fit better with Simmons and Harris than Holmes, but I don't think Flynn is enough to make up the difference. Maybe like this:

Kings: Boucher + Culver + Tillie/Aldama + #25 (Memphis via Utah)
Raptors: Holmes + #28 (Memphis)
Memphis: Harkless + Raps 1st rounder (lottery protected this year and next then top 10 protected, let's say #17)

Kings get a late first and save 14M next year if they let Boucher go or maybe like 5M if they extend him, Memphis turns their 2 picks into 1 higher one for the small price of paying Harkless 4M next year (they're way, way under the tax even if they bring back Tyus Jones and Kyle Anderson) and the Raps move down 10 picks but get Holmes to start.

Team next year is :

Center: Holmes 24, Achiuwa 14, Barnes 10
PF: Siakam 34, Barnes 14,
SF: OG 28, Barnes 10, Banton/Champagnie 10
SG: Trent 32, MLE guard 10, OG 6
PG: Van Vleet 34, MLE guard 14

With Birch at center, the loser of the Champagnie/Banton battle and our 2022 1st rounder (ideally a guard or mobile wing) as the 10-12th guys.
Where's the D?

Return to Toronto Raptors
