Well I don't think LA would do that and I don't think Houston would do it for free so in that case it's dead. Only has wheels if Russ wants to go somewhere else and get to play Russ ball

Who would improve with Russ ball right now?
There are some teams that would most of them are focused on the long-term.

Maybe Knicks, maybe Kings?

Would the Clippers trade a 2027 pick swap & 2028 pick to OKC for their own 2022 pick

Then they could punt on the rest of the season.
OKC would be giving up a chance at great pick but I think it's a very small possibility

I think Knicks and Clippers. LAC is missing PG and Kawhi, Westbrook - especially a very motivated Westbrook - might be able to keep them in the playoffs and prevent them from sacrificing a lottery pick.

I think OKC is very happy to likely be getting a late lottery pick. This year is just an average draft, but it's certainly not a terrible one, and there will be interesting prospects in that range.

Maybe the Pelicans? Devonte, Sato, Hart & JV for Westbrook, Wood, KMJ.

Rockets trade Wall, Wood & KMJ for JV, Devonte, THT, Sato.

Lakers trade Westbrook and THT for Wall and Hart.

Do you think the late lottery or outside the lottery is where they'd cut bait?
If they knew the Clippers would make the playoffs (if they keep the pick) do you think that they'd then make the trade. The Clippers haven't fallen out yet and a move at the deadline, I've seen Westbrook hinted by some, could happen.

Sabonis may be out for a while. Would think Indy won't move him for a discount so this probably closes the door on him getting moved.

He did finish the game last night, and hasn’t yet been ruled out for tonight’s game, so, while “serious”, it definitely doesn’t sound like a truly major injury. At least, not yet.

I think yes, the lottery would be the line. And they might be happy about deferring some of their draft capital.

It probably will have to be revisited at the trade deadline to see how the west has changed.
Ie is clippers still likely to make the play in then.

I would probably try to ask for the LAC second in 2022 as well a pick within 30-40 in exchange for giving up a pick that’s likely to be between 11-20 right now but should be 5-10 minimum if LAC tanks .
