Probably worth giving Stix some run as he's more mobile and more comfortable defending outside the paint than the other two.

Yeah, but too raw and he commits too many fouls. I don't like the idea of Doncic making pump fakes in front of him.

McGee fouls more than Stix. 16 mins/game 2.6 fouls, compared to 13 mins/game 1.7 fouls. Shouldn't we be more worried about perimeter shooting from Dallas? Stix does a better job closing out than McGee does. But overall, I would start Biz tonight if I was Monty. He has been hustling the most out of our centers.

I'd almost be tempted to put Mikal on KP and let CamJo handle Luka. All we really need to do is force Luka into long range shots as he isn't the best at them. Shut down the rest of his teammates and turn them into watching Luka chuck all over the place since we all know that's what he is all about anyways.

Looking forward to this game as Dallas is the hottest team in the league currently and we're playing on the road without our best (2nd?) defender. We clear this and we can rattle off a nice win streak imo.

Hopefully this is a good game and not like our games vs Miami and Boston.

Yeah I think this is how you play the Mavs. You don't want KP, THJ or some other wing go crazy from 3. They now start Brunson so not all playmaking duties are on Luka alone, but it's still more or less him. We have some size so hopefully they keep him from going inside which is his strength, not the 3pt shooting. I think Suns used Mikal on KP in previous games so won't be surprised to see it again.

Yup. Let Luka bomb away from long range as much as he wants he's shooting 29% from there. Just keep him out of the paint and from getting everyone else involved.

Booker's passes-like always need some work. You'd think playing with 1 of the greatest PGs ever would rub off on him more.

Is everyone besides Book scared to shoot? Shamet, Payne and Mikal I've seen pass up WIDE open shots.

Booker is taking too many shots. He needs to get his teammates involved instead of bricking. Last game worked this game might not.

Whatever shamets 3 pt % is, I don't care what it is, it is worse than that. Shamet being called a 3 pt shooter is gaslighting on a mass scale.

My god would this team be great with Eric Gordon.

We need more movement without the ball, and more screens to get guys open shots.

I'd like to think we can shoot better than 9.1%...so this is fine. Cp3 hasn't even taken a shot yet.

Mavs defense has seriously improved from last couple of years. Their offense however took a step back but offensively look more alert. They also are #2 in turnovers.

I love Johnson. His three isn't falling, so he takes it to the hoop.

Suns have 34% shooting and 7% from 3 and Reggie Miller says the Mavs should be happy to be tied. LOL.

The fact we aren't down 10 is a miracle.
