Needed a whole extra quarter, so not the same. They're both still the men, but Embiid's was definitely more impressive.

It’s not taking anything away from Embiid to simply say Jokic is the best. Embiid a monster and worthy of consideration but jokics the best doing it right now regardless

Jokic did something only 2 other centers in history have ever done, many more have put up 50 point games.

Last night, Embiid had the eighth most productive game (points scored per minute played) IN NBA HISTORY.

Not of "all centers". OF ALL PLAYERS.

And of course, this elite scoring is not thing new, as Embiid is the most productive per-36 minutes scorer OF ANY PLAYER IN NBA HISTORY.

Embiid - 0.81 ppm per 36

MICHAEL JORDAN - 0.79 ppm per 36

Seriously. Embiid would have scored SEVENTY points last night if they didn't take him out because the game was in hand.

Jokic literally has the fastest triple double in history, he did that against a playoff team. What he did last night 1 of only 4 guys in history of the NBA, while Embiid scored well against the worst team in the NBA without their starting C, come back when he actually puts up great numbers against teams with starting quality Centers.

Clearly our standards of playoff teams are pretty low, if we are qualifying playing the likes of Reggie Jackson, the corpse of Serge Ibaka, Zubac, and Terrance Mann, a playoff team that has the opposition trembling in fear.

This is not the same team as the one that had Kawhi and PG. This version of the clippers is more likely to make the lottery than the playoffs. They are currently 4-6 in the last 10 games and are in 9th place on the standings, so they are barely in the play-in tournament at this point.

That assist that Jokic made is up there as one of the greatest of all time. It's there with Peja Stojakovic's behind the back full court pass, Kyle Lowry's inbound pass, Jason Williams' full court bounce pass.

Either way Jokic better than Embiid because stats matter- availability matters...and you are entitled to your opinion. Jokic and Embiid gonna settle this on the court over the year and one of us will be right. Btw- I saw Embiid dominate the wiz in person at all of the playoff games. I have nothing but the highest level of respect for his game

David Robinson led the league in PER multiple years but got owned by Hakeem in the Playoffs. That's why even though Robinson had better stats, it's universally agreed that Hakeem was the better player.

One single series does not a career make. Robinson's teams were 32-14 overall against Hakeem's teams. That's hardly Hakeem "owning" Robinson.

I wouldn't say it's "universally agreed". As we continue to progress with advanced impact metrics, David Robinson continues to look underrated and undervalued by the general sporting fan, and among sportswriters.

Robinson was quite arguably a more valuable/effective player (than Hakeem) before he broke his foot, which decimated his production forever, in December 1996.

Well Hakeem's teams were pretty awful his entire career, and how many of those wins H2H for Robinson occurred after Tim Duncan arrived? Not sure H2H really matters over the course of a long career, but seeing first hand H2H Hakeem dominating Robinson in a Playoff series is pretty conclusive in terms of who is the better player.

All I know is that stats can be misleading. I mean Anthony Davis has the all-time 3rd best career PER. Yet he is at best a second fiddle and on a championship team, and is nowhere near anybody's top 10 list. Until Jokic wins something on his own, he's not better than guys that have real accolades.

They've won 58% of games that he's played in, but they're 1-4 without him. They're above .500 now anyways, and wanna hear the best part? They've had the 6th toughest schedule so far, and they're going to have, literally, the easiest schedule remaining of any team in the NBA. I expect them to be significantly above .500 assuming he doesn't lose a THIRD starter, and Jokic stays healthy
