I was posting that in Jest, but Mitchell is a hell of a player.

Is the perfect fit next to the Jays, imo.

Oh I love Mitchell, I just worry about how his game will age. He’s become a much better outside shooter though, which will help. He’s soooo dependent on his athleticism and quickness though.

I think Mitchell without Conley (and without being surrounded by a bunch of great shooters) would basically be Jaylen.

With Draymond out for an extended time, and the Warriors really missing that bigman who can pass and keep things moving (3-5 record since losing Draymond, much worse offense and defense-taking out that game when they made everything against the Bulls even worse)
Could GSW now be a viable marketplace for Horford?

Golden State can't send back $30 mil in salary without giving up core players.

why would any team, even a tanking one want Westbrook?? His huge contract and play = disaster. I am LOLing at LAL for having to deal with him.

Bring in Dave. Team needs it

I have met Dave. truly a freak shooter. Totally OCD about his shot. has someone count every att and make/miss. I heard about how he makes 395 out of 400 while at BB camp in front of hundreds of kids while talking. I was like "yeah right" Then when I saw for myself that Day he made 347 of 350 :o (not from 3 but all over)

Ironically when we talked, we didn't talk about mechanics as much but more about "positivity" example. He hates to call a "foul shot" a foul shot because it has a negative connotation. Instead he wanted it always called "Free Throw". :D

Meanwhile I wonder if he would think Ime is developing his young players with Positivity. I had his number once, lost it.. would have loved that conversation.

I'd love to see how many out of 400 shots this Dave makes against NBA defenses.

Why? You know someone will take him. This league makes it a priority to help LeBron. Simmons will be there soon enough.

Maybe next year but there's absolutely zero shot someone takes him this year. Zero.

OKC or Houston might take him next year but it's definitely going to cost the Lakers a lot

I don't want him and the contract is brutal but he is the same player if you take the handcuffs off he can go back to the player he was as a high usage guy and get you into the playoffs. He is a terrible fit with James and Davis but even with that it isn't Westbrook's fault that Anthony Davis has fallen off.

Question: Besides getting to play with his childhood buddy, what's the appeal for Beal in joining the Celtics in the summer?

There is none unless he would like to play 43 minutes per game which he would under Udoka.

The playing together aspect is big to them. Doesn’t mean Beal will 100% come here, but from everything I’ve heard, it’s either Washington, or here.

Plus, in theory that’s three all star level players. Or whatever we get for JB ;)

Both have great potential. Both under exceeded expectations.
Wizards needs to get rid of one of them. If not now, then later..

Why would Washington do that unless Tatum was coming in return? Why would Boston do it if they're trying to get players to help win now? I do think its more likely Tatum ends up in Washington than Beal ends up here but I think its also more than likely that the actual scenario that plays out is that Tatum and Beal will team up in NY or LA.

Simple logics- Washington can't have both.
I don't know who they will give up on, but one of them (prolly Rui) gotta go.

bfchs123 wrote:The Rozier talk is complete 20-20 hindsight. Universally this forum wanted Kemba and thought the Hornets wildly overpaid for Rozier.

Obviously Kemba fell off a cliff and Rozier has turned into a pretty nice player but to say it was the wrong move at the time just isn't the reality. Don't get me started on Morris, everyone hated his game and he was a ISO chucker (I still do)

Irving and Hayward leaving for nothing is a major miss though, 100% agree there

Mind you, I have a correspondence somewhere on my phone with my twin brother from that time.
Both of us thought it was a nonsense move to bring a chucker like Kemba over Rosier.
My brother is a Pacers fan, and doesn't watch the celtics unless Pacers are involved. Even he saw that.

BTW, I'd be willing to bet that the player Ainge wants to unload is Rudy Gobert. Look at that ridiculous contract. Horford and Smart for Gobert and Ingles is what Ainge would like to do. But then, what will the Celtics do with the Timelord? Makes no sense for Boston. The player who makes sense for Boston is Conley, and Ainge is asking for a pick in that exchange.

If Avdija is targeted, that's not enough in my opinion.
I'd throw in a first, even two if needed.
That's a lineup that can be the best in the league in few years.
Avdija is a team player, good defender who moves without the ball. Very good court vision, unselfish player.

He grew up near me, from what I hear he is a very good person who is really passionate about winning.
When I thin about that, Dragan Bender comes to mind (know him from first impression, as he ate often in a place I worked at in my twenties).
Always thought Deni was "too good" of a person to succeed in this league. But now when I think about that, it's Deni's passion for the game, that differs the two.

I have absolutely no doubt that this is what Kings' management told the Ringer. I also have absolutely no doubt that Kings' management was lying.
