One thing that I liked about last night game was putting Deni at the high post a couple times. He made some great passes from there, I'd really like to see more of that to get us some easier buckets.

I'm still laughing at that one play were Beal helped off of a shooter to help Deni with Siakam leaving, I think Trent or someone else wide open from three when Deni he knows Deni is a capable defender and Deni was doing just fine. How can a someone pro with one franchise still making mistakes like this?

What is "funny" is that if he turns the ball over 6 times vs. 9 we probably win.

But, he needs to be able to get to 2:1. If he is going to have 8 assists, he need 4 or less TOs.

As a contrast, the team did have 29 assists - they are sharing the ball.

On the other side, without those 17 TOs - not sure that Toronto would have even scored 100. The D was fine (sans when Neto is in the game - still puzzled on this one - I would still rather have those minutes to go Rui, Bertans and Kispert).

Beal should be the best player on the floor in a game like this if he's truly a max guy. Instead he was nowhere near that.

Tell me when was Beal the best guy in the gym? Honestly he hasn’t been very often this year.

Kuz has had more stand out games than Beal and hit more big shots- and Kuz aint a max or near max guy

Trez has been more consistent and he couldn’t get off bench in LA

Gafford has played within himself to the betterment of the team more so than Beal and was kinda dropped by Chicago


We the home of misfit kids and if Wes doesn’t out coach the next guy we gonna lose more than we win going forward...because Beal not even prime John WALL...there I said it

Beal was the 2nd leading scorer in the nba a year ago
And the year before that…
There’s not a lot of players that averaged 30 a game 2 years in a row

That’s a fact but does Beal taking the most shots and scoring equate to winning basketball?

Beal is a special talent and a great person but his game doesn’t ensure a winning team. And we can’t say it’s because of the talent around him. Often it’s his bad play or lack of excellent play that prevents them from winning. Beal is about to rightfully earn a max or super max deal. The question for the wiz and wiz fans is will we win or even contend for a ring with him as their highest paid player?

I was at this game. What I noticed was that Trez seemed checked out early on, and only came alive late in the game. I got the sense Blair was trying to re-engage him in the team. His defense was lazy, the Raptors went on their first big run when he was in the game since we had no intimidating presence in the middle. He woke up late in the game but until then his body language seemed like he was playing with hurt feelings. I wondered if there are trade rumors distracting players, and if the team is showcasing guys like Trez, Rui and Bertans to try to get value for them. In the case of Bertans it didn't work, he is useless when he is not hitting, ie this entire season.

Rui looks like a basketball player, but his sense of team ball still leaves him out of position often. The squad was -13 with him on the floor.
