I don't see how she does not get primaried. There is now way for her to get re-elected if the party gets behind a credible replacement. AZ Dems will vote for that person over her. She's the ultimate DINO, what a POS

Re: OT: The Official COVID/Omicron Variant+ thread
While the voting rights situation is horrific, this last week was at least truly epic when it comes to bringing the whole Trump crew to justice.
The latest is the court-appointed task master assigned to assess which of Rudy's private comms will be released to the court has completed their job. And the comms Rudy tried to block are in fact being released.
All of this is the culmination of the raid on Rudy and Victoria Toensings' residences 8 months ago that captured their devices and docs.
Rudy was the octopus that had his tentacles in the middle of many of Trump's illegal activities. And that means he was communicating with all of the players under investigation.
This is a big deal because Rudy took NO PRECAUTIONS and he was always reckless. Remember that he was recorded having a sensitive conversation when he unwittingly butt dialed a reporter who heard and recorded the whole convo. Rudy is a motherlode of dirt that will further sink Trump and his mafia.
Also this week Sidney Powell flipped and is cooperating with the DOJ now. She has dirt on the abuse of campaign finance funds at a bare minimum, but probably also has info on the electoral forgeries.
AND
Mike Liddell the Pillow Guy confirmed his bank accounts have been frozen. He pumped bad money into fraudulent activities.
So many people are on the hook now and more to come.
Will Rudy flip?
I don't know, but he'll die in jail if he doesn't
It was a good week for those seeking justice

I understand that her poll numbers in AZ have seriously tanked.

She had something like a 30% approval rating among AZ Dems. That’s why she needs to be primaried hard

I like to believe that Sinema is finished but if she wins a primary Arizona Dems are dumber than a box of rocks.

It would not be a good look for sure. They have to find the best candidate and back them hard

I guess it's the Trump's version of Sophie's choice.

I would bet there'd be a few inmates in those female penitentiaries who would love to get their hands on Ivanka too, for more than one reason.

She must have received some seriously lucrative offers for her to vote against democracy the way she did. I can't see any other reason to do so. Makes no sense whatsoever. Also, her emphatic thumbs down vote against minimum wage will never be forgotten. She's got to go.

I like Reuben Gallego. He can talk to the demographics of a state with a large Hispanic population and he has a pretty good bio:
Harvard grad
Former marine
Member of the Progressive Caucus
Current Arizona Congressman
He’s like the non piece of **** version of Dan Crenshaw and Ron Desantis.
Georgia has provided a good template for the types of candidates the Senate committee should be looking at in red and purple states.
Just watch Reverend Warnock and Ossoff and you can’t help but be pumped to support candidates like this.

Thank you, President Sanders!
Bernie doing what Biden should have done. Trump would’ve called them out long ago. That’s the one aspect of him that we should learn from. Biden and his fcking Senate decorum can kiss my ass.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) said on Sunday that he’s open to the idea of supporting Democratic primary challengers to Sens. Joe Manchin (W.Va.) and Kyrsten Sinema (Ariz.), the two Democrats who have joined Senate Republicans in blocking major legislation.
“You have, sadly enough, two Democrats who choose to work with Republicans, rather than the president, and who have sabotaged the president’s effort to address the needs of working families in this country,” Sanders told host Dana Bash, echoing frustrations he has expressed about Manchin and Sinema, who refuse to vote to change Senate rules that would allow Democratic-backed bills — such as voting rights and social spending — to pass.
Asked if he would help campaign against Manchin and Sinema in their next Democratic primaries, Sanders did not oppose the idea.
“Well, that’s a long way coming. They’re not up until 2024,” Sanders said. “But if there were strong candidates in those states who were prepared to stand up for working families, who understand that the Democratic Party has got to be the party of working people taking on big money interests — if those candidates were there in Arizona and West Virginia, yes, I would be happy to support them.”

Sanders is trying to help Biden, not undermine him. He's done it numerous times. You always misinterpret it as Biden being spineless. The whole point is it is usually better that someone from the ranks calls them out, not the POTUS.

I never said he was trying to undermine him. That's your interpretation. He's filling Biden's void is what he's doing. Biden's not spineless. He just doesn't really care that much to stick his neck out for us. And, no, it's not better for it to come from someone other than POTUS. POTUS has The Power of The Bully Pulpit. If ever a time he should be using it is now. This is his presidency and his agenda that is on the ropes. Bernie's focus in not helping Biden. It's doing all he can for the working class people who desperately need help.

Biden needs to borrow some of Tom Hanks' credibility ... as predicted by Tom Hanks!
Can't make this shyt up. The Simpson's does it again! Seventeen times, The Simpsons correctly predicted the future from Donald Trump’s presidency to Disney buying Fox to the spread of ”murder hornets“.

I wonder how much he got paid to do this? Check out the piano chords playing the background.
Putting money in Tom Hanks's pockets as opposed to the American people. Wages still a net neg. People are feeling the pain.

All of this pounding on the table you do for the bully pulpit still doesn't solve the problem. Biden has said before that in his long career he learned how to count the votes. You want a performance from him. I only want results, not histrionics. And now you're using the filibuster to pit Bernie vs. Biden which has nothing to do with your other concerns.
You want to beat up Biden, go ahead, I'll stop commenting, because you don't have any solutions to the filibuster problem either. He didn't create Manchin and Sinema. Blaming him for something that is fundamentally intractable and not something he change by waving a big stick is just something you do because you want to blame him for something, but you have no answers either.
