OT: Ayoka Lee 61pt game (WCBB Record)

Against the 14th ranked team in the country, Kansas State's Ayoka Lee just put up SIXTY-ONE points in a blowout victory. The 6-6 junior was averaging 23.6 PPG before the game, so her scoring that many points isn't the most shocking thing in the world. But still, I don't think anyone expects any player to score the most points ever scored in a women's college basketball game.

61 points is 61 so the comment was in poor taste, but women get paid according to the revenue and interest their sports bring in. There's a reason women's tennis players like Naomi Osaka and Serena Williams get paid well so well. The WNBA operates at a loss and has low viewership, so all things considered I think being able to earn a 6 figure salary playing in it is relatively generous. The average worker (male or female) at a company or teaching at a school in the US is drastically more underpaid compared to wnba players, but I'm going off on a tangent here so i'll stop.

I agree with the idea of this guy's post being pointless and dumb. But lets not go overboard though. Lets not act like female athletes have it harder than male athletes when it comes to the kind of comments they have to deal with from the public. I mean its not rare for male athletes to get bombarded with death threats.

I feel like at the point I'll just tank my defense to triple team her before the catch and give up wide open outside shots for her team. Clearly the doubles on the catch were not doing anything at all, just a monster performance and looked like she was limping too. I think she dribbled maybe two times on her made baskets.

A solid deliberate coaching plan executed very well by the perimeter players.
