you can point to Danny and Tiise being out but neither guy fixes the offense. Maybe Shake but still.

even if the YS saga doesn't get resolved, Morey/Brand has to get some more consistent firepower for the stretch run.

We always need more firepower, but let’s not forget this was on the road with three starters (Simmons, Curry and Thybulle) out plus two top reserves in Shake and Green. Running point Furk as primary point guard with no secondary ball handling guard for big chunks of the game.

That Curry guy does add some offense you know.

Guys need to get healthy, team just needs to stay focused. If last seasons postseason taught me anything, it's that injuries can, do, and will happen and what you accomplish in the regular season means nothing without health in the postseason. I feel like we're right there, just need to play smart and win the games we're supposed to win.

Another solid game for Tobias. 18 pts, 11 Reb, 5 assists. Kept the Sixers in the game when Joel was resting.

Yes, in the 4th he came through. That's really all we can ask for. He can score I his sleep, but if we can get him to do it in the 4th quarter of games, we'll have something.

Need a point guard who’s a strong transition threat. Tobias was top 3 in the league in fast break points last year and a ton of that was Ben

Jo seems to be in the best shape of his career, but the amount of usage the Sixers require from him to win just regular season games against bad teams isn't sustainable. It just doesn't seem possible for him to continue this level of play through May and (hopefully) June never having nights off.

Once Curry, Green, and Thybulle return, Doc has to find some off time for Jo, or he'll be cooked by April.

Haven’t watched last 2 games

Why are opposition 5s having career nights?

They have suddenly become the random guards of previous seasons

All star break will help. Hopefully they also make a trade.
If he wants MVP he can't miss more than a couple of games. Until he wins one it's probably going to matter to him.

Sucks but it is what it is.

PnR and offensive rebounds.

Our small guards get blown up on the pick, Embiid comes out to help on the ballhandler, they pass it off to the big who scores behind. We also can't rebound worth a damn so...

Yep, I'll add that Jo is picking his spots to turn up the Defense too.

I'm worried about winning, period. I'd rather have him play 55-60 games and be fresh in May.

If a trade isn't made we aren't winning anyway, and then he might as well go balls to the wall for MVP.

Was being generous and dividing his exorbitant salary over reg season+1 finals series/34 stats

He should be deducted $10k for each airball, turnover, being blocked and low T wimpy play.

I know they are basically paid Sixers mouth pieces but why do these people covering this team keep acting surprised about games like this. And they always give the other team all the credit. Part of this is awful play by the Sixers and coming out flat. This team is 10-10 at home I think and have a bunch of losses to depleted teams. Wily Hernangozem for instance. He is a totally offensively focused player who does nothing on defense. Thats why he doesnt play regularly he is actually a pretty good offensively but a mediocre rebounder and poor defender. The answer to him is to punish him on offense lol. But we arent for some reason.
