You can say the exact same thing about Jokic fans. Yeah, they're not obsessed at all.

It has always been about playoffs performance, nobody should use RS performance as a reference to evaluate players, defense is a joke most of the time and stat padding is rampant.
Embiid simply needs to prove he has better stamina and improved clutch play in playoffs, right now it's looking good though.

Just celebrating. Embiid is now giving us what we’ve longed hoped for, but dared not expect.

At least Jokic didn't blow a 20+ point lead to the same Clippers B-squad

Joel 90 points in 2 games. But to me this is the worst list of the season for the Sixers up 24 and a L. But get back to me when Jokic scores 90 points in a two game span.

Get back to me when Embiid wins MVP, or makes it out of the 2nd round 8-)

Had to go to the 3rd page for an Embiid thread. If Jokic was putting up these stats we’d know what the narrative would be. Unlike Jokic the stats here pass the eye test and he does it with less talent around him.

Yeah, Philly's supporting cast is worse than Denver's.

How in the world the stats do not match the eye-test with Jokic? Never even mind your other statement, that's ludicrous.

Embiid's skill level is proof of the Process. I hate everyone that complained and caused the Sixers to fire Hinkie. We missed out on a potential marvel.

Yeah. Good luck with that, homes...

This is actually quantifiably false.

Denver's Win Shares minus Jokic this year: 15.1. Jokic accounts for 35% of the team's value.

76ers Win Shares minus Embiid this year: 19.9. Embiid accounts for 24% of the team's value.

If you don't think Jokic plays "solid defense" then it's clear you just don't watch Nuggets games.

To me, watching them all this year is that he plays these low minutes and they run every single thing with the goal of getting him the ball. Then he comes off the floor, and they dont know what theyre doing because everything is running through joel. Not good.

Then when it gets to the playoffs and teams play defense, they still dont know what to do, and joel is tired because hes playing 38 minutes instead of 32, AND he has to be the defensive anchor. They need to get him doing less and playing longer, and playing more defense. That goes for him Giannis(when he starts bricking fts and making bad decisions due to fatigue) Jokic, Ja morant. Personally, i think they are all doing WAY too much offensively in the minutes theyre on the floor(giannis this goes for the least)

You have it backwards. Embiid's teammates are more valuable than Jokic' this season.

You have it backwards, that's exactly what the poster was saying when he said Jokic does it with less.

The Sixers have been 6th defensively over the last 15 games, ie. Embiid is back to being elite defensively. Thybulle has missed several games over that stretch.
