Except last trade deadline the traded 2 seconds for Delon Wright and another second for Terrance Davis. So a team that let Bogi go for nothing because they had too many guards has spend 4 picks on under 6’ 5” guards despite having Fox and Hield on the roster.

Kings gonna King. Nik Stauskas is available too....

To be fair you really have to divide the Vivek reign between Pete D, Vlade, and Monte. My post was all Monte moves.

I mean, in a dream world one of them will be able to check SF's in several years. Davion possibly the strength, Tyrese possibly the height/length. Who knows how they develop. Thats being generous

Seriously in a dream world. Monte’s statement that Mitchell could guard NBA 3’s was almost as dumb as Vlade saying Bagley could play the 3.

I think Fox has more star potential while Haliburton is more likely to be a non-star key contributor to a very good team/contender.

With Haliburton's skills at SG (he cant defend PG's), you want a 3 and D guy at PG ideally. That definitely isnt Fox, but also doesnt appear to be Mitchell (who is 23 and shoots 30% from 3. He does play really good PG defense).

Will Mitchell improve? Maybe. Other than the bad 3 pt%, the FT% is pretty telling. He just isnt a good shooter.

The missed opportunity was not trading Barnes to the Celtics for Nesmith and Boston’s first.

The Kings finished tied for 8th and trading Barnes would surely had resulted in at least one more loss. It would not be inconceivable they got into the 7th spot. With the Boston pick they could have taken Sengun or at worst Jalen Johnson.

Even assuming worst possible, this would likely be the Kings roster

Holmes, Len, Queeta
Metu, Bagley, Johnson
Wagner, Nesmith, King
Haliburton, Hield, Davis
Fox, Wright, ???

That line-up would be way more balanced and offer hope for the future than where the Kings currently sit.
