I still don't know why they gave Kennard that first three, then before that, Harrell fouling Mann was REALLY dumb, then fouling a guy about to shoot. The Wizards just did so much wrong.

Coffey came into tonights game averaging 11/4/3 (0.5 tov) on 49/41/90 his previous 17 games. Just got a nice solid wing out of this guy, pretty sweet.

man i even looked away from the screen because i thought it was over, then i heard BS talk about how harrell made a foolish foul.

but in reality there are so many questions from the wiz side, it's kinda unreal. just glad it's over. i think you can excuse it if you're a really young team, but with a bunch of veterans you can only point to dumb mistakes and bad bbiq. and in sports, the pressure and feeling of giving up a gigantic lead is so real, which is why i said i wasn't worried in that later post. coming out of the half, the wiz just looked so meek trying to defend their lead and you can't win games like that.

and yeah, gotta give credit to coffey, AGAIN. i'm not the kinda dude who cares about tooting his own horn but when i talked about coffey low-key saving our season, several weeks ago, i had good reason. but in all fairness, i never would have imagined this lol. really happy for this dude and while the postseason is still in question for us, i think this "lost" season is going to have permanently altered the trajectory of our young guys, amir coffey being the most prominent.

It honestly has to be the greatest comeback in NBA history by a country mile. Coming back from down 35 is impressive enough, but we were also still down 6 with 11 seconds left and then Luke did his best impression of Mahomes against the Bills. Crazy.

Then there's the poetic justice of Trez blowing a huge lead against us after Doc already blew a huge lead against us.

Fans who hate on their own team usually find cheap scapegoats. Beal is the only thing holding up that mess over there along with Trezz and a few others. [That said, they're admittedly going nowhere with either of them and should be aggressively shopping them.]

As for the COMEBACK, our coach deserves a lot of credit--the same coach who was trashed earlier this year every time we fell behind by 10 points

And the coach who was trashed before HIM directed THREE of these all-time comebacks himself.




Beal is probably overrated but he's hardly their problem. This is what scapegoater types always get wrong--and why did this Wiz "fan" come over to OUR board to douche on Beal? That's like a Clipper "fan" using this great win to douche on...Trezz???

I don't give up on these guys because THEY don't give up. OTOH guys like Coffey [in particular] are playing with their careers on the line and nothing to lose. We've made heroes of dozens of guys like that over the years, nobodies having career nights against us.

Never gamble with a man who has nothing to lose. He's always all-in.

Now, Luke, that's a different story. The raw numbers aren't there yet but with his team defense and 4th-quarter shooting, I think he's caught JJ Redick already and is easily our most pleasant surprise of the season. I don't know how much Amir will see the court in the playoffs, but Luke is already one of our do-or-die guys.

Unreal... Just watched the highlights and can't believe what happened... I thought these comebacks were reserved for games against contenders... Kennard is just a cold blooded. Love to see the bench guys contribute so much to this epic win.
