Heat employs the Zone and they actually give a sh*t about defense, Randle and RJ looking like ass incoming, Knicks lose.

This is a big game for RJ for sure. If he can play well regardless of victory or not, that would be huge for him and us.

It isn't about matchups it's about schemes. We will always lose the scheme here because Miami blitzes us and our offence has no movement nor are we good passers.

Zone with a blitz kills the Knicks every time. I don't know why every team doesn't do it.

I feel like "back in the day" when the scouting report got out on a team, other teams adopted it.
Now, less so. Maybe they attempt to and aren't good at it, but I feel like teams used to try harder scheming at defense at succeeding at it. It's probably the same and just adjusted for rule changes and pace that encourage offense.

I don't think there is enough talk about the heat. they were a top 4 top 5 seed in the east by most experts before the season, but too top heavy and with no deph. yet, here they are. a million injuries and covid quarantines and they are the freaking number 1 seed.
spoelstra and riley are just incredible.

PJ will talk smack. Randle will take it personally and then proceed to shoot us out of the game. Just watch.

It’s because we have no talent.
