Because the Bullets can’t draft.

Drafted only 5 All Stars who stayed on the team since 1978.

It's because as a franchise we have incredibly low self-esteem, which in the case of the Wizards is understandable. We're afraid that our friends will stop liking us if we don't give them what they want.

After last night's debacle, I'm still here! Never left, actually. I've been rage-reading all the Amazingly Sucky threads all night.

I want to watch a team of five Kwame's. Kwame to Kwame, passes it to Kwame, who drops the ball. Turnover. Small hands, you know.

Beal's act has grown extremely tiresome. This dude, talking about 'giving the Wizards an opportunity.' GTF all the way O. Every other night, you're bringing 6-15 shooting with six turnovers. Enough of this garbage, please. Terd is out of his mind if he gives this guy a quarter of a billion dollars. Skinny Ted is going to be eating his pain all the way back to Fat Ted.

Garbage.
Can't say I do. Who else gonna shoot?

I can’t believe Beal said that stupid ass ****. I know blew up on someone for this, but the fact that he can say stuff like that shows how beta this franchise is.

I just... I don't feel comfortable giving a max contract to a dude where you don't notice when he's off the court.

Beal is a #2 at best. Don’t throw mad money at him. Learn your lesson from Wall.

At this point its time to get rid of him at all costs. Absolutely disgusting excuse for a "leader". 1st rounder + expirings, whatever. Take the L for not trading him at peak value when it was already clear he wasn't a championship level 1st option and decidedly mediocre even if you have no higher aspirations than the 2nd round. People didn't want to see his flaws because they drank the Ted Leonsis mediocrity koolaid.

When you hear the guy you're about to supermax blame one of the best benches in the NBA for a 2nd half collapse he played nearly ever minute in and had the most turnovers in, you have to realize this guy is not it.
