We will need to take the good and at the same time put away the feel good glow quickly as a tougher match awaits. Our best D-out, two-way game on the foundation of a strong start on the foundation of adhering to fundamentals is what we must execute for the full game. Details to results we want.

Now since ive made my fantasy lineups to reflect this I'm sure Poeltl will score 5 points, have 2 rebounds and zero blocks and be in foul trouble 2 minutes into the game.....

Well rebounds are a **** issue AGAIN. And I don't want to hear excuses about size - it's also a mentality where we don't get outhustled for them, where we are aware to box out, where we are embarrassed to get outhustled by smaller players.

What will it take to **** get it through our collective heads?

ESPN box score says Lonnie has not entered the game. Sounds about right. He did make that 3 there, though...

Just put Primo in, please.

Our 3s are keeping us in it.

But we're fouling all over the place because they are driving relentlessly and getting rebounds in our end.

Proud of our come back push to close a 15-point deficit down to only 3. Didn't love that we gave up another open shot to end the Q but basketball gods favoured us and it did not count as it was after time expired. Every point counts

So scouting report surely has Jock out there to spread the floor, but you have to wonder about his 0-3 and overall worse shooting from 3 at home. I think Drew can help us on the boards and some points in the key if nothing else.

Jock did get our first O board and putback, so there's that.

Devin is once again a gunner for us, even if he hasn't hit a 3 yet. Neither has Doug or DJ, for that matter, yet our 3s - 7-21 - are keeping us in it.

Also, our better rotations, contests, blocks, and rebounding is helping our cause as well.

It's energizing our O game as we're moving and passing far better and quicker to get more open spaces and Js as evidenced by our 19 assists by the half.

We're countering their interior game (28-20 points in the paint for them) with our 3s and mid range game well.

It would be good for us to push downhill more and go at their bigs and talented perimeter players for more fouls and trips to the FT line where we were only 5-7 by the half.

The last time we played them they went on a big 3RD Q run that we couldn't recover from so we must use the momentum we generated to bring an even bigger push of our own. Expect more pace and physicality and exceed it. And for the love of basketball gods box out and grab all the rebounds, Spurs!

I feel like Jakob has that drive at Adams a lot. Should use it more. That said, I do like that Jakob is more assertive with his shots and drives.
