Not while dumping CJ at the same time.
Dumping CJ to pick up a guy who costs more without producing more doesn’t seem like a dump to me.
Hey Jroy, since you are our resident POR expert

have you guys tried/had any success running a:
CJ(or Simons)
Powell
RoCo
Nance
Nurik
With the continual 'we need rebounding/pf/defense' talk i see from POR fans, with Dame out (and cj out recently) has this type of line up been tried/produced any positive results?
CJ hunts his own shot a bit too much as a primary ball handler and Simons has a shaky handle along with questionable bbiq to play pg. He’s best suited as catch and shoot with someone else playing pg.
In my opinion, CJ can do it and Simons cannot. At all.
Powell is solid on both enough on both ends and keeps the defense guessing with drives and jumpers.
RoCo has lost a step, I think he’s better at PF than sf, especially on defense. Remains an excellent team defender.
Nance is a solid athlete, plays above the rim, can get the occasional steal or deflection. Doesn’t get a lot of touches on offense. Pretty good passer, mediocre screener.
Nurk is a dynamite screener, solid passer, rebounder and defensive player but has to do a lot to compensate for **** defense from the guards.
