I kind of disagree. Even with our terrible player development he was the 2nd best shot effector in the league behind Gobert with far more offensive upside. He was on his way to the All Star game and was injured literally **** canning Giannis. Also was a budding rapist. Anyway, the ACL I think really hosed his lateral movement and his defense hasn't been the same.

Correct. Leon and staff were unconvincing with their dubious free agency plan. As you mentioned and with the most cap space sheez. Noel, Kemba and Fournier were bullsht and Randle was signed 6 months too soon.

Leon has to take the fall for this summer's cap space travesty. The only way to redeem himself is pull the trigger on Fournier, Randle and Kemba. Make a decision on Mitch, cause Jericho is fkn beast and would love Kenny Payne with more time with him.

Tonight was ooogly. But the Heat are a championship caliber team that is very well coached. We couldn't handle their defense which they executed perfectly.

I haven't really given this much thought until tonight but Leon Rose has to be on the hot seat. Dude signed off on big money for Randle and Fournier (which was the most egregious one) and the team fell apart. I get that he couldn't have seen the Randle thing coming, but the Fournier one hurts. We're stuck with that contract now.

Fournier kind of getting what vets who are "ok" get. I mean, even Luke Kennard getting 17 million.

I mean, it's not a good deal. It's the kind of deal not smart teams do, but I think it's movable. Not easily, but not impossible.

Randle's is going to be difficult.

He was definitely intriguing, and produced well in certain areas (rim protection, 3P% for a second), but was too awful offensively on the whole to be chalked up as a real foundational piece for purposes of the point I was trying to make. The idea of KP as a foundational piece was always more theory than fact to me.

In the year he made the all-star team and got hurt, his TS% was .539. League average in 2017-18 was .552.

And then he got hurt and there was no longer even a chance at him being that guy, but his performance even up to that point was already really worrisome. For me at least. He really seemed like he was going to be the guy that broke the cycle for us, but he was a fraud.

Thibs and Randle vs the front office and the rest of the team. Thibs going to die on that Randle tree with them template rotations. You can bench Kemba and Fournier but Randle get put back in 1-15. Guys tuning him out, period.

Ty Lue benched his starters to start second half and the clippers came back down 30 plus. Thibs is just an outdated bad coach.
