People mistake criticism for death penalty too much. Cole is young and had a great game. A couple of dumb youthful hero plays doesn't change that, but he needs to learn...It's like employees or students, you don't bother critiquing the ones that have no future. Cole can be really good if he matures - I'm well aware of his age and want him to get it, but sometimes kids never do.

The "trade Cole" comments are not criticism, not sure what that is. I agree with you in principle, I included Cole in contributing to the loss. It just amazes me a 2nd year player gets SO much heat for the losses.

"Trade Cole" does not equal "Cole sucks" or "dump Cole"...one has to acknowledge his value to consider that someone else might give up something we need more than we need another wild, developing PG...unlike a lot of RealGM posters, I don't base trade suggestions on guys I hate who I think are terrible for guys on other teams that are great. Just like Isaac has more value (in his present state) to ORL than anyone should give up for him...IMO, Cole MIGHT hold more trade value than ORL growth value...I won't be disappointed if Cole spends his entire career in ORL. It's nothing personal... I don't understand why people get so butt-hurt about the idea that nobody is going to trade value for scraps from the worst team in the league :banghead:

that is not what is being discussed this isn't theleads trade idea.
Go through this thread, you'll see the "Cole Sucks", "trade while value is high" posts.
That is what I'm talking about. And sure, I'm butt hurt because we get guys who love to play ( a rarity over some of the other picks) and seem to like playing together in Orlando (a bigger rarity) and people are unwilling to let them grow.
Now, I'm a believer in players have value, and you can move any player based on returns.. But that isn't what was being talked about.

I dont think Anthony played particulary bad. He had some ball stoping moments and dumb shots but less than usual. He was also hustling all game.
Okeke played good defense, just shot was not falling.
I was most dissapointed in WCJ. He made careless fouls, forced tough shots over Zubac. Ross and Mo Wagner were meh, Mo Bamba was invisible.
This wasnt a bad loss. They have solid veterans and who is this Amir Coffey ?
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !
