I think Hali is a great piece for us. Fits our style and if FVV asks for the Max next contract, we have an out
Holmes is underrated and would be our starting centre

And Barnes is a free agent. He's underrated as well. I don't think they'll be money out there for him this off-season. Mid level at best.

Lot's of underrated players for an 18-31 team. Wonder why the team is so bad when they have so many good players. Maybe they aren't actually underrated and perhaps overrated?

Oh yeah.

If trading Pascal is going to improve the team...Masai and Bobby gotta make the deal or at minimum consider it.

This season should not be wasted for the sake of getting to the first round/play in only to get rocked. AND get bumped out of the lottery on top.

I find it hard to see Masai trading Pascal, because he fits Masai's vision of lineup full of 6'8 long defenders with some playmaking and shooting ability.

FVV on the other hand is at "peak" value.

We won a championship with Kyle who shares many similarities to Fred. Not every single player at every position needs to be tall and lanky.

Fred is untouchable right now. Management are enamored with him. Decent contract. They aren't trading him lol

I think Fred being small doesn't matter as much because he's so strong and smart. I don't see a ton of possessions where he's a problem, and Darko and EPM have him as our best defender.

I do think that Malachi struggling and Fred and Lowry being rare exceptions at their size means we're not going to use the MLE or our draft pick on say Schroder or Kennedy Chandler or Jean Montero (though I'm less sure about him, haven't seen him just read stuff).

We are the youngest team in the league at 500 with zero bench depth. No our players don't suck. Sacramento has more talent and depth and look at them. They suck.

Caleb has fallen to 40s in mocks. I would guess he withdraws if he's not a 1st rnd pick. Being more assertive lately. Too good a shooter at 6'8 to pass up at that spot.

I'm with you that the Kings suck as they probably have the worst management in the league BUT...

I find this "youngest team at .500" a bit misleading because there's actually several around the same age or younger that are doing every bit as well (ie/ CHA, MIN), if not better (CLE, DEN, MEM). Typically people define their team as "young" by their best players and right now that's Fred (who will be 28 in a month) and Pascal (who will be 28 in a couple more months).

Some teams who's best players are actually younger are doing better than us ie/ CLE who's doing substantially better with Garland (22), Allen (24) & Mobley (20) then out West there would be DEN with Jokic (26), Murray (25) & MP Jr (23)...just sayin.

Fair enough, are you including Dragic as part of the team when considering age? I wonder where we rank if you exclude him. Because he's really not part of the team

That’s why I roll my eyes when people keep saying we’re the youngest team in the league.

Pascal and FVV will both be 28 during this season. That’s much different from Memphis/Cavs/Denver etc etc lol.

Starting line up wise, we’re actually older than Memphis and Cavaliers. They also have the luxury of their 2 best players being under 25 who are no where near their prime unlike our situation.

I hope we acquire a second rounder for this year. There are a couple guys interesting in the second round that could help with our bench scoring inconsistencies.

We are a .500 team with the worst bench in the league. If Kings had all these underrated guys, their record would be better. I'd say they are properly rated and on this forum, I'd say Haliburton is becoming overrated.

I’m going to keep hoping for a Siakam + Dragic for Haliburton + Barnes + Hield + 2022 Kings 1st deal.

Gives us a lottery pick + a bench + shooting if they want to compete now. They can move their own first for a starting C like Jak or Turner too.

Kings might consider Siakam for Haliburton + salary balast, but that proposal is impossible

Management publicly committed to both Fred & Pascal this season, I really think some of you guys have to let go of that hope/dreams at least until next season. Management is likely running the same game they did with Kyle & DeMar to "prove it" then they either try to lock them up or move them out.

lol just for fun. Took me 14 tries. Personally though, I would take Sharpe or Banchero with the number 2 pick but I know Will would be happy with this outcome.

He’s seeming to get the hang of the college game now. He’s been playing a lot better over the past several games and Michigan seems to be back on track winning games

I think Caleb still goes somewhere in the 1st round.

(I’d be happy if he stayed at Michigan for another year, but I doubt it)
