Here is my oversimplification on how our offense will surge into top 10 status... THE FOUR T's.

Tatum: needs to be more consistent game-to-game
Transition: we've been **** at this first 2+ months
Threes: self-explanatory. 'Sup, Horf??
Timelord: he opens up so much for our O

Out of the 25 5-man lineups with the most minutes in the league, Smart/Brown/Tatum/Horford/Williams has the second-highest net rating.

Make it FIVE Ts. 5th is Trade.

Schroder OUT, vet wing shooter / ball-mover IN.

OK, I'm not an advanced stats guy, but how could JT possibly be in the top 90% in perimeter shooting this season?

Bball index takes difficulty of shots and gravity into account, that’s why Luka and his 30% shooting from deep is there too. But yeah their formula isn’t close to perfect lol, though LEBRON is one of the highest regarded advanced stats, by nba execs.

You tell me. The BPM is now 95th percentile as well, just not updated here. This is with the dude shooting 7% his career number from three, well what it was coming into the season.

Does their formula take into account whether the shot difficulty is self-imposed? :P

That’s all our guy lol.

Though he’s really cut the crappy short mid range shots out recently, everything is at the rim or from three.

6th place or better would be an OK outcome for the regular season, in this era of play-in games.

We're 5 games out of 6th place -- 6 games in the loss column -- with 32 games left to go.

Except they insist on having Schroder and Brown handle the ball when Smart is on the floor.

He is listed as PG in only about 800 of the 2800 possessions he is on the floor.

Cruisin' at 8th. Need to get to at least 6th, to avoid the Play-In.

That is so much "Novemberish". Team is broken, unreliable. Most likely will fall to 9th with Atlanta rising.

The Celtics have shot below league average TS% 24 times this season. They are 7-17 in those games.

The Heat have shot below league average TS% 16 times this season. They are 2-14 in those games.

An internal development strategy, in my opinion, consists of:
-- Play your assets.
-- Put them in situations to play well, even if that requires non-assets to fill out the roster.

So in particular:
-- We should de-access Schroeder. He doesn't help other guys to play well.
-- We should definitely play Al as Rob's backup, until trade or internal development produces a good alternative.
-- If Ime is really, really sure that double-big is the way to go, then he can also play Al at PF. But if there's some doubt, then leave those minutes for other guys.
-- Nesmith should be given a chance, even if just for 8-10 mpg, as a steady backup to Jaylen. They actually have analogous games, in that:
---- They like to catch the ball on the run.
---- They tend to crash the rim with more energy than slickness.
---- They're high-energy on man defense, but lack court vision.
-- Pritchard should simply be Smart's backup, for now. Note: Pritchard's defensive potential is overwhelmingly at the 1. He doesn't have the body for anything else.

I'll stop there, rather than spell out the roles for Romeo and Josh.
