I never go to the GB but this is good GB topic -- Have the Grizz and Cavs surpassed the Celtics as having a brighter future?

This is crazy about Aron Baynes... he's still trying to get his motor skills back after falling in the locker room during the Olympics.

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/33153946/the-mysterious-fall-harrowing-story-nba-center

ON HIS 11TH day in the hospital, Baynes was finally able to stand. Then, in an exercise to work on motor skills, he was able to stack one cup on top of another, an accomplishment he'd been working toward. He was so excited that he FaceTimed his wife. When she answered he saw his youngest of three children, his six-month old daughter, learning to do the same. He began to cry.

Last year the hawks had surpassed us and were the new young team to deal with. Next year some other young team will do well. It's hard to know where it all stands until the dust settles. Grizz and Cavs may take a dive next year with higher expectations and we'll wonder what's wrong with them.

Yep, development as players and as a team isn't always linear. Plus Cavs and Grizz have done nothing yet in the playoffs.

No. Tatum clearly better to build around than anyone on Cleveland or Memphis. As good as Ja is I am not building around a Pg who is mediocre at best from 3. If Ja can get substantially better as a shooter the conversation can be revisited.

Garland and Mobley are both excellent players but are you building an offense around either one?

I’ll take the guy (Tatum) who tracks closest to LeBron, Durant, Kawhi, Giannis style of body type.

Btw, if I took that to the GB it would be a resounding "yes the Grizz and Cavs have surpassed the Celtics."

The GB has already completely forgotten about our 2 ECF trips with the Jays in the last few years and think our young core is perpetually underachieving. They have the memory and attention span of a potato over there.

Spoiler:
He was messing them thangs up, made me want some! They must have been really good with that smile on his face as he sat down! Looking like a kid ready to dance because the food is good!

Take Kemba back for a 1st round pick from the Knicks

Schroder and BolBol to the Mavericks (8.1 Million in Salary)
Kemba and a 1st to Boston (8.7 million)
Dozier to OKC with cash to buy him out (1.9 Million)

Net result + under tax and have a PG off the bench that is an expiring next season and the Knicks first rounder to add to potential 3rd star deals.

I know he had 30 in the 2nd half and he's hit two straight threes before this possession, but Russ really had no business pulling up for a game-winning three here. Everyone kind of knew he was going to brick it, so of course he did

Definitely. With Westbrick on the C's, the team could work part-time in construction with all their bricklayers. Wyc and owners could use that extra income I guess

Speaking of bricks. Steph has been abysmal for the month of January. Stll the GOAT shooter no doubt but i wonder if anything is affecting him outside of bball.

Wow, i'm taking Ja all day everyday twice on Sundays.
