Very scary. I hope everything is alright with his family.

Weirdly enough, I think the last game he played in was the one we won and his kids were on the sideline and he greeted them along with other players and celebs after the game was over.

Jimmy wouldnt be on board.

If Jimmy signed off, I'd do the deal in 2 seconds.

Bam would go there and get worse and Kat would come to Mia and get better.

I don't think Jimmy would do it now. But in the offseason, if we haven't won the chip? He might re-consider.

I love Bam, but I'd do it. I agree with your comment - I dunno if Bam gets worse in MIN, but I could see Towns getting better in MIA.

I could see KAT being a better defender, but his scoring talents would go to waste.

Spo's offense is centered around getting guys 3pt shots and making cuts to the baskets. In our offense, our bigs are largely just facilitators and helping to get our shooters open.

Occasionally, we run PnR with our bigs where the play is to actually get the ball to them in a spot where they can do something with it, but it's not really our bread and butter.

Just think about this: Herro and Bam are the future of this franchise, and Spo has yet to develop a 2-man PnR game with them. Sure, we've seen it here and there on occasion, including the Knicks game, but not to the extent that you would expect from your #1 and #2 players heading into the future.

Spo views Bam as a guy who gets Duncan Robinson open and in rhythm.

If this wins us a championship, great, I'm all for it.

If not, this is probably the most absurd thing that's ever happened in the NBA. Just imagine telling someone that you're going to build around Duncan Robinson.

“You can’t quantify [Adebayo’s impact]. You see the comfort level of Duncan skyrocket because you know, Bam knows how to get him open. The synergy between the two of them, they’re just so connected. Sometimes, there’s just an energy to that.”

Lots of PnR's with Yurts in the lineup.

Perhaps the reason why there's much to be desired when it comes to PnR plays with Bam is because he isn't efficient enough of a scorer to justify the play.

Bam's touch in the paint is subpar to be polite and he stroke on pick n pop opportunities is not reliable.

KAT is levels better than Bam in both the PnR and PnP. He also can stretch out and shoot 3's at a 41% clip this season.

Bam wont even attempt 3's which is a good thing because it's obvious he wouldnt be any good at them at this stage of his career.

Pass. While much more polished offensively than Bam, the amount you lose defensively and toughness with KAT makes the juice not worth the squeeze.

If we don’t win a chip this year I say make an offer for Donovan Mitchell that includes Bam maybe going to a third team since they already have Gobert. Maybe Dwyane Wade will do his ole buddies in Miami a solid

Holy hell. Barkley said on a YouTube video of the inside the nba crew picking the reserves,,that Miami has the best team in the east. I haven't heard Barkley say anything positive about us in years. Buy your lottery tickets, folks. You just might win.

Mitchell thing seems like a down the road endeavor unless his relationship with Utah grows to be toxic.

If Mia were to trade Bam in the offseason, and again, I don't see Jimmy blessing a KAT acquisition, the obvious target should be Lilliard.

He fixes a lot of the halfcourt funk problems that Mia has from time to time, and gives the team a legit closer.

Its quite surprising that Spo hasn't won a COY award in the past 14 years while guys like Dwayne Casey, Budenholzer and Sam Mitchell have at least one.

If they're fully healthy, they are capable of defeating anyone in the east in a 7 gamer. Question is, will the refs allow them to play physical defense against the Nets and Bucks? It seems like the league really made an emphasis on rewarding sound physical defense earlier on in the season but have shifted away from that as we progressed. Shame. James Harden and his flops will get to the line 12 times a game and wreak havoc.

I think we have a big flaw in our offense: no inside game. We depend too much on our 3 point snipers. In the playoffs, if Duncan and Strus are neutralized, we are going struggle to score. I don't have any stats but I am pretty sure that in most of our loses, we didn't shoot the 3 well. Jimmy is basically our only players that can score in the post with some regularity.

Dipo even last year still showed he can get to paint at will. We just him to look healthy and get some confidence ASAP

Won’t matter either way he’s locked in long-term with Utah. It would take sending Bam via trade to pry him from Utah if they were to ever consider trading him. It’s a pipe dream but perhaps the situation over there is even more toxic than what is already being let on
