Why is it that we hated the Nets when they went to NJ but not the Jets or Giants?

As a New York Jets guy, thank you New York Giants for depleting the Buffalo New York Bills staff.
Yes, I know New York isn’t in the Bills name but figured it was a good time to hit the NY trifecta.

Jets & Giants still have “New York” in front of their names.
Nets had NJ and from what I can tell, that’s where all their fans remained.

Schoen knows that if he can get DJ right, his job becomes so much easier

Can’t 100% think he will go with Jones. Besides all the coaches Jones not able to stay healthy.

Then again

didn't y'all hire wilson/leftwich?

Nothing official

Because apparently, the hold up is, Khan wants to keep Baalke around, but Wilson/Leftwich want nothing to do with him, so he's trying to negotiate them into accepting Baalke as a part of the FO, but not as GM

It's a complete clown show.

this is just all too refreshing, a new direction with a gm/hc that are on the same page.

one of the bonus of having an offensive coordinator as your head coach is not worrying about the offensive philosophy changing. if flores nailed it with his offensive coordinator then he would've just been a head coaching candidate and it'd be back to the drawing board.

but with daboll it'll always be his vision.

The best thing about this is if we are good, everyone winsx. If we are bad , everyone goes. Interesting to see if we really stick with DJ.

it's cause the Jets and the Giants are the closest football teams in New York. the Islanders have always been the New York Islanders but no one cares about them in the city all the while they've won just as many Stanley Cups as the Devils and Rangers combined since the late 70's.

Sorry, I hate this. Nice guy but what has he done? Team allowed a TD before half in like every game this year and we can’t get off the field on 3rd downs. Was looking forward to something different. This is a Mara rehire 100%.

If you want to talk about Mara, its with Kevin Abrams not Graham staying on after he sucked for mad years in FO.

I would have preferred Abrams going too...but the dude is just a cap guy. He has no say on what players the Giants pick especially in the draft.

He is told what FA's we want to get and to make it work under the cap. Gettleman was on the hot seat and a GM on the hot seat is never a good thing.

https://youtu.be/T2oHAcOPvyU?t=438

Just look at this "behind the scenes" look where Abrams was talking about the offseason (I started it where he was talking). Specifically says what they did in the offseason was not ideal (renegotiating contracts and spreading out cap hits for FA to get lowers 1st years totals). Because they got approval from upper management.

Abrams isn't a scout he is a cap guy. The GM tells him who we are after and when that gets done he is told to work with the agent to make it fit under the cap. I didn't want him as the GM for sure but he's more of a contract guy and the cap problems are necessarily just on him. He was being told who to sign.
