Sucks we missing about 70ppg from our 3 guys out

Hornets are missing a 2 of their biggest pieces and a solid bench player
no real excuses tonight

But for some reason, people think that stacking talent on talent increases the talent total.

Doesn’t change the fact that he took a dumbass shot…

You know you can both say that Westbrook had a fantastic game and was the only reason they came back while also identifying that it was a bad decision for him to take an iso contested 3 as a 30% 3P shooter when the team is only down 2, right?

You can, but when you're shorthanded and on the road, usually it's a better idea to go for the win than try and get to overtime and considering the way the game had played out, you want your best player taking the shot even if he's not wide open

If you needed more proof that Westbrook doesn't fit with Lebron and AD, there you go. Looked like an all star tonight and had his best game of the season.

WB would've scored easily if he attacked the paint. We have no rim defenders.

That said, we tried our best to lose this game. This was a reverse of our normal game. Great 1st half, terrible 2nd half.

If Lu Dort is knocking down back to back 3s, you just got to tip your cap.

I don't really understand how people watch Giannis play basketball every night then complain about that Bridges drive on THT
or complain about LaMelo flopping after watching THT snap his head back on his own flop lol

good game though

I would say we played sloppy, we tend to play down to competition then go out and beat the Warriors, Bucks, Nets, Cavs, Grizzlies, Nuggets, and Sixers

It's sad watching DeMarcus Cousins these days. He used to be so fun to watch pre-injuries but he can hardly move now :(

Good game Jazz! Had one of Mitchell or Gobert been back that likely has a different outcome

Spurs have some nice young guards and wings.

Westbrook cannot shoot 3s and he is even worse when defended closely. CHA will live with that decision every time

It was the Hornets. They are the worst defensive team in the NBA

Pop is still a great in game coach. He sees weak defenders in derozan and Lavine in the game. Has run the same pick and roll almost exclusively in 2nd game with spurs guard.

Both Lavine and derozan are poor defenders. Vuc isn’t great either.

What’s sad is he missed out on huge payday before
His Achilles injury. He was looking at max or super max contract easy with New Orleans. Even after the Achilles he still turned down 40 million/2 years.

So going from 140/150 million guarantee in 2018 to min salary the next 3-4 seasons.

Lakers were really starved for offense with 3 best offensive players out (Lebron, AD, Monk combined for ~70ppg) but somehow hit 120pts.

Hornets D is really something. I thought our D was bad lol

I mean, the refs did everything they could to kill our transition fast paced game calling 100 fouls and stoppages
crazy that ya'll couldnt win with all that help and Hayward+Oubre+McDaniels out and getting such a throwback performance from WB

better luck next time!
