a whole arena can yell expletives at Trae Young, to the point of the broadcast/arena needing to blur it out, but an Individual fan can't yell advanced stats at Julius Randnle?

Sad state of affairs man.

These guys really shouldn’t have to hear things like “minutes 34”. People need to understand the long term ramifications of saying things like that. Players shouldn’t have to put up with stuff like that.

Glad to see someone gets it. What's next? Players will be trash talked for things like their subpar true shooting percentage and win shares per 48? There are lines you don't cross when it comes to trash talk. This has no place in the league and I applaud the security for handling it swiftly.

My thoughts and prayers are with Randle and his family after this brutal verbal assault.

Just completely incorrect. If there were no fans, no one would be paying for these people playing a little childs game for millions of dollars.

Some NBA players would need lifelong psychological care if they played just 30 minutes in a European soccer stadium.

It seems to me that this fan knew exactly how to handle himself by NOT being racist, Not screaming profanity and Not bringing in anything personal like family etc.

To me, it's the NBA not handling things properly.

Agreed. These guys are human beings. They have feelings, because they are human beings and human beings have feelings, so therefore they have feelings because they are human beings. Human beings with feelings.

If nobody watches the games, the NBA starts to have a real issue.

Maybe wait for the facts to come out before the judgemental & immediate sarcasm?

Especially when the past incidents haven't been about plus/minus, performance on the court, etc.

There are multiple sides to a story. In this case, it seems like there are multiple people: a New York Knicks fan beside the kicked out fan, security personnel who issued warning(s), referees who issued warning(s), who haven't given us the full story yet- but it doesn't seem to add up with what this kicked out fan is saying.

But hey, do you to express whatever emotions and thoughts you feel and think. I think its better to let it out than not, at least.

It's always strange to me that people pay money to go harass another human being, then act shocked when they get kicked out of a game. Also then double shocked when people see what a pos you the are. It would also be nice if they cleaned a lot of this up and also made a hard cut off on alcohol sales much sooner in games.

I know right. This clown said he was a minus 34, when at the time Randle was really a minus 31. **** piece of **** coward azz and his bad math. Act like at least you've attempted a quadratic equation once in your life, yo.

Yes, trash talk, which what have seen lately is not what is happening. Its people wishing death on Lebrons kids, people yelling racist things at numerous players and will see what happens with this case. Stop pretending they are the same thing.

Dude trash talk has been a part of sports since it's inception. As long as a line isn't crossed it should be no problem. If the NBA is going to kick people out for light trash talk then go ahead and kick people like Spike Lee out. Did Randle have a problem with the entire madison square garden making fun of Trae balding?? Trae responded by beating the snot out of the team.

If the reports coming out about what the fan said is true. Soft.

And much of what is happening lately is well beyond trash talk and is crossing a line.

Hated him when he was elite, always respected the hell out of him. Even more valid these days. Nba players now are so damn soft. Babied their entire lives
