After being up 35 points on the Clippers, Ty Lue benched his veterans, played his hungry young guys who are 2nd round picks or undrafted largely and the Clippers stormed back. Your Bullets quit playing, looked dazed, Wes Unseld stuck to scripted rotations without adjustments and the result was #SoWizards on a million. The homestand ends at 3-5 over 8 games.
The trade deadline is fast approaching. Tommy Sheppard is going into his 3rd deadline. A Beal trade isn't happening. And I doubt this franchise will get a "big fish" and Ted Leonsis will not allow them to blow it up.
On Saturday night, they travel to Memphis. Now THAT'S a franchise that has shown how to conduct a masterclass in team building. Star PG Ja Morant has been sepctacular since returning from injury.
