We're acting like Gafford is Bill Russell in his prime. We were losing with him and we'll lose without him, but there's no doubt in my mind that they were showcasing Bryant and also looking for something more than he gave them tonight. Or maybe teams want Gafford. You can have all three, none of them are good starters. They all have basically one or two skills, but are all undersized. If Gaff put on 25 pounds, it would be a different story, but he came into camp basically the same size. He still gets pushed around. They all do. Might as well just sell and tank the rest of the season away, because Sabonis isn't going to make us great. He'll just make us average, which I guess that's what Ted wants. At least he's going to give you a double-double every night and is a rebounding machine.

Watching the Wizards game and now the Golden State game is such a contrast. You can tell the difference between Beal and Curry. Curry is struggling with turnovers and missed shots, yet goes out of his way to dap up Wiggins after he makes a mistake. Beal crawls into his shell and becomes a diva and blames everyone but himself. Also, just an observation, but EVERYONE on GS is constantly moving, even Otto!

Please trade Beal! This team will be unbearable for years with him maxed out.

Lmao. I've honestly lost $400 in the last week. Either losing the game like losing by 1 to the Nets but mostly losing on Beal points. It's only 23.5 and he can't even come close anymore... Lmao

This dude ate 23 points like nothing last year and now I keep losing money on it... Lmao

Trade this dude before I punch him in the face... Lol

It was explained to Dinwiddie early on that Beal is the star, and he needs to stay in his lane.

Amazing the difference in how he plays when Beal is out.

I actually don't think you can evaluate Wes when you have such a massive team cancer like Bradley Beal on the team.

It's very clear that Beal is getting babied and coddled by the org.

Hyperbolic, much? No one is saying that Gafford is without flaw, just that the youngest guy in the starting lineup with the least clout looks like he’s being scapegoated and benched to play two other terribly flawed centers.

For example, Dinwiddie is allowed to play like utter garbage game after game, continue to get heavy minutes without even as much as a peep from Unseld is damning in it of itself. It’s says that there are two standards for how a player will be judged on their merits of play.

Hell, it’s not even a situation like Beal who has been here for 10 years, had playoff runs with the team, made all-nba, made all-star games, etc. with the likes of Dinwiddie, KCP, Kuzma, and Harrell, but they are treated like some protected class of player when their poor play has also been a big part of what this team is, especially defensively. None of them have done jack **** with this franchise to deserve that treatment.

But yeah, let’s cherry pick Gafford who before being entirely glued to the pine was being jerked around with two six minute stints to start each half mo matter how well he was playing. Those tactics, matched with favoritism are inevitably diminish the incentive system of players to give their all because there’s no point if you aren’t going to be acknowledged and rewarded for doing so.

Also impossible to stomach off the court. An implosion right in front of our eyes.

Actually, it’s kind of nice that Gafford may be glued to the bench over this next stretch, while this team gets surgically dismantled by our next string of opponents.

Right. It’s also clear he’s being told to showcase players. I don’t think he’s truly in charge of the rotation at this point.

I’m willing to give Wes a little botd.
