On the one hand, the Dunk contest can magnify his great personality and athleticism and vault a relatively unheralded young guy into national relevance.
On the other, become a joke
I honestly didn't think he was that explosive. The kid in the high school dunk video was electric (and skinnier). He missed a lot of time in college with an injury...I really hope he's got it, his in-game dunks are fun, but don't necessarily seem effortless like some of these freaks. I'll certainly be pulling for him but I have concerns.
