Probably have two super bowl wins if Jimmy G is not the QB

Lol

With Brady set to retire, Jimmy now has the highest Winning Percentage among active QB's.

Let the mud slinging commence

I don't believe we can win a SB with Kyle, he's talented but too stubborn for being successful.

Could have been 2 with Brady playing for the Niners last year.

I'd like to see what he does with Lance before I come to that conclusion.

Jimmy basically only having one pitch which is that 15ish yard throw down the middle I felt really limited the offense. With Jimmy I just don't think he was able to make defenses pay the way you needed to make them pay for selling out to stop the run.

If Lance can be not only a legit threat deep but also outside the numbers while being effective in the middle that's really going to open up the offense because defenses would just have too much ground to cover.

Mahomes only needed 13 seconds to drive 60 yards to put his team in position to try a fg. Josh Allen only need 40 seconds. Jimmy G had damn near 2 minutes and couldn’t get 10 yards. He’s pathetic man.

And you are going to hold Trey Lance to these ridiculously lofty standards as well, right?

Give him 3 / 4 years similar to how Josh Allen was developed. People were calling Josh Allen inconsistent “not elite” his 3rd year.

Good Riddance to that bum. Go screw up someone else’s team. I can’t freaking wait until I get to read the news about him being traded or cut

Dude was 53% tonight on completions. Before tonight he hadnt thrown a single TD in weeks. Yet folks bend over backwards to try to make up excuses. We win in spite of him and would have multiple Superbowls if we had went in another direction

I'm glad to be moving onto the Lance era but I don't hate Jimmy and I think he's about average to above average to me.

What kills me with Jimmy is just the mind-numbing backbreaking decisions he's make almost every game he plays in and the fact that he's constantly hurt.

Ultimately, he just doesn't have the talent you need to consistently have a chance at the next level. Look at the QBs thriving and it's guys with live arms that can hit challenging throws and aren't afraid to pull the trigger on them. And guys that are just mobile enough to extend plays and hit plays off script.

Part of all of this is just my own personality as well. I'm the type that wants to go for 3 pointers, hit homeruns, and score TDs. Instead of barely squeaking by teams all the time let's beat them by two scores and not even give them a chance to make a comeback.

Going 10 yards in 2 minutes is a “lofty standard”

asking your starting QB to get a first down is 'lofty standards'? lol

this is a weird hill you're choosing to die on tbh.

Mahomes and Allen were mentioned in regards to comparing Jimmy.

You know probably the best 2 QB's in the game right now, and certainly the 2 most dynamic QB talents.

I'll listen to criticism, but comparing Garoppolo to guys like that, is the very reason why Jimmy is hated so much. Its impossible standards.
