I think writing is on the wall, we are getting Dinwiddie, wizards want to make a last ditch effort to keep Beal and Dinwiddie is ruffling feather.

Dinwiddie and Thomas Bryant for Randle makes too much sense.

We would need more than Dinwiddie. Randle is worth more and we are scoring guard heavy. I think it would have to be a 3 team trade.

Oh hell no. I trade my player who's failing to keep us over .500 for another guy failing to get his team out of the lottery, who also plays pretty much the position I wanna clear up for Obi and Mitch.

I mean, you can say the same thing for Fox but at least he plays a position weve been desperate for a decade. I think Woods is the most fools gold player in the nba. He and Grant unless you already are a contender and some other guy is already gonna be the alpha leader of your team....and maybe a Beta too cuz I see both as good tertiary stars if I'm trying to contend.

Wood played on two of the worst teams in the league, the Pistons and the Rockets. Wood shoots the ball better from outside, won't try and dominate the ball, and plays better defense than Randle. Plus, his contract is a fraction of the costs.

Jazz just lost Ingles. Knicks should see if they're interested in a Burks reunion

It doesn’t make sense for us. We’re not getting good players back.

Add a lottery protected first round pick and that’s a great look.

So you don’t think Wood is a better fit on this team than Randle? I’m not looking for a star or leader but the fit. Randle is neither of those things either. The team record doesn’t have any bearing on how well a player can fit. The Suns are favorites this year and they stunk for the first several years of Booker’s career.

Randle plays with the ball too much before making a move. Wood is much quicker with his decisions and is a better shooter and finisher. I would rather have that type of player than the garbage play Randle is giving us. He might even get unlocked further playing for Thibs too.

Just like 2 weeks ago Woods was suspended after an altercation with his coach. What about that fit? I ain't saying he don't have some skills but I'm not trying to bring in some problem.

I wouldn't have worked so hard to rid myself of Randle just to watch RJ have to again play second fiddle to a guy with a poor mentality.

Ya know, part of the reason Woods is appealing is hes over there putting up stats that you almost don't need if you're trying to win. The same way Julius is a fugazy star of a team, Woods is the same.....maybe worse if you wanna win.

I don’t see how that’s possible. Randle says he’s committed to seeing this through but his actions have been terrible. He barely tries on defense and doesn’t even help his teammates up off the floor. He’s the definition of fool’s gold. He can only thrive when we are winning? He’s not even talking to the media through a tough losing stretch where he’s struggling.

While Wood isn’t mature to a degree in how he got suspended, that team is full of young immature players. Their structure or lack thereof is completely different than here. I think he would be an upgrade for sure.

Utah has to have an interest in either Burks or Fournier. They need to keep Mitchell happy.

Utah is not a viable trade partner. They are over the cap and have nothing we need or we can reasonably get from their roster that is better than having Burks. Royce O'neale is probably the likely consideration but he's basically the same player as Burks (just a little shorter). They both make the same amount of money over the next 2 seasons after this one but Burks contract isn't guaranteed after next season....O'Neale's contract IS guaranteed next 2 seasons after this one. Not to mention, they need O'Neale.

I think he meant as a partner for an expiring contract. For Fournier they would have to add one of their youth to match contracts, but in theory Burks might be the better piece for them simply because his contract is smaller than Ingles and just one year after this season.

Alec Burks + Luca Samanic for Joe Ingles + 2nd rd pick works as a starting point to give us capspace to go after Brunson if that is the direction of the FO is going next summer.

Randle and Fournier for Fox and Bagley.

Randle for Fox is just making too much sense. They need a PF we need a PG.
Doesn't have to be more complicated than that. We get a look at Bagley as well to see if its worth the investment.

Burks for Boucher and a 2nd rounder from Toronto. They are not resigning him.

Fox/Mcbride
Rj/quickly
Cam/Grimes
Obi/Bagley
Mitch/Boucher

Knicks need to take advantage of Utah's weakness by sending Utah Fournier, who fits a number of criteria:
Is White
Relationship with Gorbert via French team
Has some use on offense

Then Fournier can piss off Mitchell and undermine the Jazz like his presence did to Randle here, and drive Mitchell to the Knicks!

The good thing is that both swaps work straight up for Ingles' expiring contract: Burks or Fournier---they can choose.
