Schoen is going to want to have one of his guys as his right hand man.

Usually to poach away VP of Player Personnel or something like that you need to offer a promotion like Asst GM.

I'm still hoping he overturns the scouting team especially Chris Petit...but hands can be tied so close to the draft...usually those changes happen right after the draft.

It could but now with this stupid demeaning Rooney rule...the Bills requested to interview two minority coaches (WR coaches). Who haven't been talked about for OC positions but that could just be to satisfy a rule. Rather then calling them legit candidates.

Bill Belichick getting revenge for beating their ass twice in the SB. I don't think the Giants will get any punishment, but the Dolphins are ****.

Dolphins and NFL might be in trouble because as I said the Rooney Rule is garbage.

Giants seemed like they were just following protocols Daboll was always the fav with Schoen there...and if they had to do interviews to satisfy rules what else could they do?

Usually before interviews you have a favorite.

Sigh, can’t catch a break for crying out loud, the rule is dumb anyway. People are still going to hire who they want.

There’s a reason for weeks Dabol was the favorite. Rooney rule is just getting it out the way. It’s a dumb rule.

Also lol at Bill being senile lol. At the end of the day everyone had Dabol getting the job for mad long.

Off course Flores in the victim mindset. As a black man, I’m sick of the victim mindset Bs.

Giants statement...even Ralph V reporting Flores was close to getting job...team was split. But Schoen got the nod because of Bills connection.

Doesn't sound race related at all. This probably is career suicide for Flores.

This is a Rooney Rule issue not a Giants issue.

If the stuff on Dolphins about tanking were true that is a horrible look as well.

Flores’ “smoking gun” is this text?? That Belichick “heard” from rival teams that Daboll would be hired by the guy he worked closely with for 4 years?

To me, this strongly validates the Dolphins decision to fire Flores and other teams deciding to pass on him. Yikes.

Well, he would have to prove that the reason the Giants did not hire him is on the basis of race, which he can't.

At best, he can make a case that he wasn't truly considered, but the burden of proof for that is high, because those texts were before his interview. Giants can just say that after speaking to him, they were incredibly impressed, and it was a razor thin decision.

So, I think the Giants are clear, but this will put a spotlight on the rule, which is probably his main goal.

It’s victim mindset folks. I have seen this crap way too much.

Apparently Mara wanted to intervene and pick Flores but Schoen flexed his power.
